Hello again CMDRs,
I finally made my way to visit Marco Qwent, after slaving away for Sirius Corp to get access. There, I got a few upgrades, and then learned about some more of his engineer friends, Professor Palin and the venerable Lori Jameson. I'll make my way to them someday, but for now, I had my eyes set on visiting Sol, even if just for a moment to say hi.
I jumped into Sol, and was awestruck at how much it felt like home. I refueled at Abraham station, and as I was taking off, I saw the most amazing eclipse
outside the station.
Anyway, I still have so much work to do, so back at it. I was now intent on meeting Tiana Fortune, but to gain an audience with her, she demanded 50 units of Decoded Emission Data, some grade 4 data... 50 UNITS!!! I visited the local trader, and (after burning through most of my remaining cache), finally got my 50 units. This had better be worth it. I made my way down to her facility (being careful not to crash land, like I did when first visited Martuuk), and paid my dues. There, I got a few more upgrades, and then decided it was time to head out again.
I realized that I had never written down my blueprint from Martuuk, and went back to visit her again... and forgot how high the grav is at her outpost, so I had another minor crash... I'll get the hang of it one of these days.
I've been thinking about joining up with Operation Ida, it seems like pretty hard work, and there is so much to do... but I don't have a ship (or the means) yet to make much of a difference there. Maybe once I've saved up a bit more money, I'll join in.
Next, though, I plan on making friends with a mysterious fellow, known as "The Dweller". He wants me to get in good with a few black markets, which is generally against my code of ethics (and danger averse nature), but his knowledge is too good to pass up... so I'll hold my nose and make it work.
Anyway, that's all for today, remember to be excellent to each other.
CMDR ta1onn, signing off.
