After over a week, I finally shook off the dust and departed from COL 285 SECTOR CR-M D7-56 1 D. Why so long, you ask? Was that rock really that interesting? No, not really. But it sure was quite! The Lewis-Clark III, she’s a new ship, and I didn’t feel quite right about just taking off into the big black and not giving her a good once-over. With all systems A-OK, I took off and headed to explore the rest of the system.
Most of my time has been spent mapping planetary bodies found to be made from high metals. But I discovered my very first terra-formable world! HIP 86408 3 in the HIP 86408 system. How exciting! I cannot wait to see what that planet will bring in when I sell my Cartographic data!
Well, I think I will close for now. I’ve explored an additional 32 planetary bodies, scanned 4 of them and, well, I’m tuckered out. I think I’ll scan and locate a rock suitable for landing and put in for the night. I guess this terrestrial hasn’t found a taste for fly in space on auto pilot. Nope, not me. I need good old terra firma (HIP 86665 4 D) to be exact!
Touch down! See ya’ll another time! Good night for now.
