Just a little fun thing I decided to do. Took me about 2 minutes to reason this out so don’t expect this to be very accurate when it comes down to it, but I think it’s a fairly reasonable estimate.
So for starters, if you don’t know what I’m talking about, Fleet Carriers are a class of ship that will be released by Brewer Corporation in December. And they have yet to disclose pricing. Many, including myself up until this, have been expecting prices in the tens of billions, however with my estimate, the price seems much more reasonable. So without further stalling for time, here we go.
It’s pretty simple, and really only includes two factors, I started with a base price 2 billion credits. Each Carrier has 16 landing pads, 8 large, 4 medium, and 4 small, but for the sake of thinking worst case scenario, I’m going with all of them large. For every landing pad the carrier has, I add the value of the most expensive ship attainable to pilots, the Imperial Cutter, which costs around 200 million, that comes out to roughly 3.2 billion, which I added to the base price for a grand total of 5.2 billion. I imagine this will be the base price, with any upgrades offered being more.
Again, I took about 2 minutes to come up with this, so don't take ol’dragon’s word for gospel, but that’s my estimate and I’m sticking to it. And I really hope I’m right because much higher than that is gonna be a pain.
