WarCat72You know Rat Catcher, just because you have white hair and the demeaner of an older man, doesn't equate to you being wise or knowledgeable. FDev can't close the doors on Elite for one simple reason. They just started marketing themselves as a publisher for games made by other people, and shutting down ED would be the fastest way to kill that part of their business.
Why, thank you for your kind observation that being old doesn't equate to wisdom, you are, of course, correct...
A publisher that didn't cull products that are no longer perceived as viable may also be viewed in a poor light by those clients who wish for the best promotion of their product, surely?

I give up.
FPS below 40-50 make me feel dizzy and bad, loud GPU cooling system going at 100% make me annoyed and worried, need to switch visual settings down to medium irritates me.
Even the feared Bug'o'Punk '77 running well on high-to-ultra (no-RT) wasn't such a disappointment.
p.s. May be next year they'll do some optimisation, and I'll have a newer PC as well.
Same here. My cooler is screaming as hell.

Edit: Yes, low CZ confirmed. If you try to unlock her with medium or high it won't work.

Never uninstall, it's not necessary. Run file verification instead. It will compare the files and only redownload the broken or missing ones. Much faster than reinstall.
