I'm not going to spend anything on a PC upgrade because of EDO, as Odyssey visuals look worse than Horizons, and also they demand better hardware. And it's not my fault. It's their fault.

It's strange tho, when the game crashes it's like it crashes the gpu driver because both my screens go black for a second. No other game does this. Temps are fine, no OC. Started happening with update 8.

Also, make sure you have a really large page file 10-20GB if possible.

Would you recommend Odyssey for the trips to the void? I am not a fan of Odyssey and am playing Horizons but Odyssey introduced a lot of new live forms to be found on the surface. So when you are in the void is it better to be in Odyssey so you could possibly find some new ones or it is limited mostly to GBA (Great Bubble Area) and void are still the empty phenomena.

Nick NovaThanks Burstar. I tried some third party shaders before, most recently edhm but they have been deleted for some time. Will check if there are some files i missed. I'll also try leaving the game to do it's thing when it's starting up, im usually on my second screen when it's loading.

I have some crashes when im outgoing from sistem map, since update 8
I dont Know how fix, not problem like you, perhaps in update 9 resolved or 10,11,12

Can't agree that it looks worse. Horizons planets were so boring

As a VR-only player, the entire experience still remains garbage compared to Horizons. I keep jumping back and forth after an update hoping it's worth playing in Odyssey mode. Nope.

I can live without something I've never had but seeing how the VR player base has been let down is really sad to see.
I hope they change their minds on this one.

Yeah, I just tried using VR and disembarking once to check the boards on a station. God it looks awful. What bugs me is specifically is the Neutral grey environment. It's distracting. Solid black would have made more sense to me.
