I had a bad trip out there yesterday went on a simple look see trip in my Adventurer II, she is a long-ish jump explorer unarmed but has shields {thankfully} use her for my ventures into the black anyway on my way to to the barnys got pulled down a few times......... didn't fight it expecting good natured visits, on the whole most of the 4 interdicts where fine but the last was darn nasty, dropped for another friendly chat only to get a single message "DIE" then 4 ships started to rip the Asp apart, with a lot of boosting I managed to jump out with no shields and 30% hull
So didn't get to see the flower sucking whatever up

What I did get was a real show of the flower on my way back home, I went and repaired my ship at Obsidian Orbital then set my jumps for home and 4 times on the trot I got ripped down and scanned by the flower all 4 times trying to do the same jump from Obsidian.

Next time I go out to anywhere like that then it's either in a toss away ship of my Griffin

Yes. The SDC taking a new POI hostage can really bring people together for a nice chat. (Never got to see the giant space flower laser show myself) I did get a little "infiltration adventure" out of it. The people in the discord seemed to like my attempt at a stealthy SRV run. Lol

My little brother bailed just moments before one of those guys hit an instance he was in. Plasma accelerators on immobile targets and the like. It looked mostly like explorer anacondas and asps, but they had a corvette and cutter there too so who knows how it went after that.

I was landing when a silent running Federal Gunship bombarded me as I was landing 5 meters from the pad luckily he had to bug out be for he could finish the job. Me and my friends baited him back and as we were going to kill him he combat loged. His name is ryeczek21 be on the look out and keep your eyes peeled so you to don't fall victim too.
