SakashiroI wonder if there's a technical reason for FDev to make traveling with a carrier so expensive. I like the option of mining for fuel, but why does it have to be such a grind?


I agree, i've spent so many hours mining tritium and got to 4000 tons but this amount gets lost so fast when you travel a little


That´s the reason, I simply buy that stuff...

Let´s say 1 Unit Tritium is 50k
so buying 4000 Units needs "only" 200million

that´s quite the same amount of money, you´d make by selling 4000 units of meta alloys from place A to place B.

Well, if you already own a FC; buying and selling 4k of meta alloys is not a big deal.
Maybe about 2 - 3 hours? Probably less...

2 hours platinum laser mining = $200,000,000 + 100% full on all T1 raw mats. People will say ignore everything except platinum. Don't do that. Grab gold, silver, platinum and palladium. Sell them for 20k below asking price per unit from your shop. Go about the rest of your day and let the blue collar workers worry about unloading it for you. Trust me, they'll find those goods and unload them for you.
My current game loop - platinum mine until raw class 1s full, then dump all metals in my market below price. Then I go to hi CZ and spend those reloads. Repeat process. I'll hit deadly in combat today or tomorrow then it's on to my triple elite by using this loop. I made so much cash that I'm literally going to sponsor MY OWN CG on Halloween night! Frontier rulezz again. After this patch everytime when I kill thargoid interceptor the game got crash.

you are right, buying tritium saves a lot of time......however I prefer mining it along with other precious minerals and metals.........

you are right, buying tritium saves a lot of time......however I prefer mining it along with other precious minerals and metals.........


My problem is that I'm far out in the black trying to return to the bubble. No where to BUY Tritium I have to mine it and it is driving my crazy. SOOOO much mining over and over and over. It's almost enough for me to consider decommissioning my carrier out here just to be done with this tedium.

Depending on the situation, you might be able to get the fuel rats to send a carrier to sell you tritium.
