Yeah, maybe. Maybe I mistaken that engineering stage with upgrading Caustic sinks to '1/7'. My memory is a crap and this isn't something worth remembering anyway. Point is: they're identical to those you can obtain at any time by using existing ways.

Help
have a fighter hanger but cant see how to equip it with fighters on my vette, any ideas

I believe you need to go to a station that can do re-arming and outfitting. I think you need to initially buy the fighters from the outfitting screen where you buy the hangar. Once that is done, the fighters can be restocked via rearming, or via the advanced maintenance.

This ^

Each hangar bay houses a certain number of fighter blueprints that it uses to be able to produce, deploy, and service a fighter belonging to that blueprint. Most blueprints you buy like a SRV (the Guardian one works a tad different though as you have to unlock it).

If you want to get any use out of your fighter flying solo, you will need an AI crew member to pilot it for you.

the hanger shows as installed in the optional list but not the buy fighters option

The fighters are initially bought in the same way as SRV. I am not sure if every dockyard have SLFs so better go in Jameson or some big station.

Is Jameson operational again?

It just went right back to operational state because that is how the Thargoid invasion system works. If a port does not reach the “Damaged” or “Abandoned” state upon completion of the invasion it goes right back to fully operational.

Which sounds dumb when GalNet claims it was heavily damaged but this is how things are.

Having just given the Azimuth-improved peashooters from the Shin Dez rewards a go, my initial verdict is… they’re still peashooters. I haven’t really noticed a significant difference in the speed taking out Scouts or Cyclops’ hearts*, but they do make taking out a Medusa heart within the exertion window significantly more reliable.

… just, don’t bother wasting ammo trying to exert the Medusa unless it is getting shot at by other NPCs or players. And, briefly joining a planetary CZ, they still kind of suck at taking out a Hydra’s heart even if they’re not as bad at it as the standard ones.

*They do seem to use less ammo so they probably do take them out quicker, I just haven’t felt a significant difference there. Yet to encounter a Basilisk, or see how they perform vs Glaives. And the autoloader mod is actually quite great at keeping up and never having to sit out the reload timer of the standard.
