Schrodinger’s Covert Operatives [SCO] is a player group made of like-minded individual pilots who operate on their own accord. One could call us mercenaries, but mercenaries hold no values. We are not ‘guardians of peace’, we are guardians of values, the values we as individuals hold dearest. We believe in the right of the individual to make his or her own decisions while commanding his or her own ship. We have two rules: no SCO commander kills another commander in SCO, and no SCO cmdr combat logs. We reap what we sow.
SCO is a player group that actively participates in galactic events and shares strategies regarding ship-builds, pvp combat, trading, and exploration. We have a group discord in which we organise private events, share videos and pictures, and organise combat missions. We hold no begrudging affiliation with either the Federation, Empire, or Alliance. Our pilots come from all different powers and minor factions. We operate daily in numerous systems and hold bi-weekly events (canyon jumps // canyon races // pvp combat competitions).
SCO is made of sub-groups of cmdrs. The first group is the larger wing at large. Cmdrs in this sub-group contribute at their discretion to group missions and group goals. These cmdrs may also propose new group goals and missions in which SCO may operate. The second, and much smaller sub-group of SCO, is the Covert Operation Team. This sub-group forms the core of SCO and performs black-ops missions - including paid for-hire assassinations of key targets within the galaxy. The Covert Operations Team sub-group defends all SCO members at all cost.
While most commanders may join Schrodinger’s Covert Operatives, only select few are chosen to enter the Covert Operations Team of SCO - once their commitment and loyalty has been proven and their admittance earned.
Schrodinger’s Covert Operatives is derived from the Schrodinger’s paradox, which is a thought experiment using quantum mechanics to prove that a hidden cat in a box can be BOTH dead and alive. Our past endeavors include active undermining of the following: Jaques selfish reasoning to put a station at Beagle Point, player group minor factions who do not play in open mode, and cmdrs who combat log when their actions would have caused their death. If need be, if provoked, we can be on the side of the demons. We can be evil men in the gardens of paradise, sent by the forces of death to bring devastation and destruction wherever we go.
