Summary of 3309, and Merry Christmas!

Where to begin? It's been a prosperous year full of adventure, patience, determination, and memories. I started the year in conflict against the Thargoids, helped where I could and had gained a generous bank account. Then some contracts involving mercenary work got me glued to fighting battles in systems that were...not stable. From all this I was able to compliment my next exploration ship; the Travellers Dream II, a Krait Phantom, and decided to go out into deep space with her; seeing some iconic points of interests, nebulae, and worlds. This first journey included my trek towards the Galactic core, to Colonia and finally, the Centre of our galaxy.
In time I had returned home, but had lost the Travellers Dream II to, technical issues. She indeed became a dream, one that got me to see the wonder at the heart of our galaxy once again, just like her predecessor.
My next journey involved something closer to home, and to hopefully reach the last bit of attaining the honourable badge of "Elite". A Keelback became my next unorthodox choice for venturing out. Solace was her name and with few tweaks and turns, engineered her into possessing a decent jump range, ready for deep space. The Elysian Shore called to me and so I ventured forth into its abode, visited the Bubble nebula, NGC-281, the Heart and Soul nebulae as well as various other star systems and its many worlds/moons.
The Heart nebula was also where I met Cmdr Riley Angel and their friend, Cmdr Mushroom. What a chance it was, you could say it to be a miracle. They shared their stories and informed me of a group that stuck to the shadows back in the Bubble. A club of some kind, and that they are pulling the strings, and have done on a lot of things.
This encounter had led into a brief adventure into the Formidine Rift, in where we gathered data from the abandoned sites there, and also found the megaship, Zurara. They were kind enough to drop me back off in the Elysian Shore, wherein they, with their fleet carrier- had headed for home.
After a short break, I got back to work and carry my sightseeing across the Shore, finally ending it at NGC 7822, then headed home. But even all that was not enough to claim the badge.
So a third journey took my wings over to the Sanguineous Rim, not too far, but far enough to have found many undiscovered places. Once home again, I did some local exploring, places such as Barnard's Loop, Orion, Running Man, Witchhead, T Tauri and a documented star system that held over 100 bodies within. Finally, and this is the final of all finals. I had docked at Obsidian Orbital, transferred my cartographic data and behold...received the badge of an Elite Explorer.
The Solace has become my general ship now to navigate the Bubble, but I plan for her to be a small passenger ship, to do some taxi work. Recently however I bought a new Phantom, Phantom Of A Halo. She is my new AX fighter, and gave a hand in the Battle of Chinas against the Thargoids. Now, it is Christmas Day and I am resting. Spending time with family on New Caledonia in the Tionisla System.
Not sure when my next log will be but it'll most likely be sometime in the next year. Their are a few plans in mind, for the next era in my journey. I may have become Elite, but that doesn't mean the story has ended.
