Citizens Office for New Trade Revenue And Individual Liberty!
Welcome to CONTRAIL: A civilized organization for profit, progress, and pew-pew.
is always on the lookout for new agents of prosperity. Be you fresh out of the pilots academy, or an old hand who have memorized all the major hubs of human activity, we've got a spot open. We have no requirements of standing in the game. Be you a straight arrow with all factions, or the most wanted person in the known universe matters little. Our tentacles shall reach deep into all factions. We are above the silly little squabbles of politics and grandstanding the major factions and the bloated egos of the powers play. We're in it for ourselves, and we are better and stronger together.
Joining is a simple matter of registering here at our website
. Hit the 'submit application' button, then jump onto our Teamspeak. Say hello and then stick around for a bit until we've gotten a good impression of you and vice-versa. We play in open to help each other out where possible and practical. Whilst we do appreciate every-ones need for going about the galaxy their own way, having friends nearby should one get into - or even seek - a bit of trouble is tremendously helpful.
You will also have to meet these requirements:
- At least 18 years of age. Over 20 is preferable, over 30 is good, over 40 is even better. The exception being, if under 18, a parent or guardian need also be a member of Contrail.
- A microphone and the TeamSpeak 3 client. No exceptions, as we emphasize the social aspect of navigating the galaxy.
For players new to the game, we have a special 'training program' intended to get you from your standard Sidewinder and into an Adder or Hauler ASAP. We'll also help you learn the tricks of your preferred profession.
We only have two rules:
- Absolutely no fucking combat logging or cheating.
- If you must grief, don’t pick on newbs in Sidewinders. Don’t do things that negatively impact the growth of the community, i.e. picking on new players.
New recruits will be given Probie status for a while. Usually between 2-4 weeks depending on activity. If very active, then perhaps shorter, if very casual, then maybe even longer. Either way, it is a formality to make sure existing members and new members gel well together. Ordinarily not much of a problem, as long as one got at least average developed social antennas and a sense of both good and bad humour. Especially the latter
