LOCATION: Omega Sector VE-Q b5-15 - Omega Mining Operation
LOG: It wasn't bananas, it was oranges, which is even better as far as I'm concerned. So juicy. Now I just need to figure out a way to eat them out in the black without making a sticky mess of the cockpit.
Made a few more mining runs before setting down at Omega. Found good ore in the rings of the second planet in Omega Sector EL-Y d215, but I'm getting too tired to keep at it. Forgot to account for 98 tons of ore coming back into the station, and almost smeared the Springhill into the plating around the mail slot. I have a feeling that bunk's gonna feel pretty comfortable tonight.
The board says I'm in the top 10% in tons of ore delivered, but I'm not sure that'll still be true by the time I wake up. I don't care about the bragging rights, but it does feel good to know just how significant a role I got to play.
I didn't expect that. I only came out here because I was tired of doing the same old thing day in, day out. I don't even know if I cared about making it back, and now here I am getting all mushy over building a space station at the galactic core. This expedition's changed me already, and it's only been 5 days.
I wonder who I'll be at the other end?
