Ram Tah: Ah! There you are! How's Colonia treating you? Have you tried any of Jaques' special drinks?
Dynahi: Well, Warped Mind was particularly neat among the batch; but you're not here to discuss drinks with me if you've encrypted this line, Ram.
Ram Tah: Yes...well, do you remember that project Ten and I were working on?
Dynahi: The one before we left for Colonia? Not entirely. When I asked him about it he said it was a secret.
Ram Tah: Oho! He followed that instruction nicely!
Dynahi: Until he read the Galnet article about your base being attacked and came barging into my quarters all worried and spilled it out.
Ram Tah: ...I...spoke too soon.
Dynahi: Something about a new type of Frame Shift Drive; but like I said, I don't entirely remember. That was months ago. I can barely remember what I had for lunch two days ago.
Ram Tah: I guess being frozen for that long will damage your brain.
Dynahi: Nah, my memory is like that if I don't write it down first. So, about that project?
Ram Tah: Ah yes, it is a marvelous prototype hybrid FSD that we have temporarily dubbed the Guardian Nexus Drive...or GN Drive...or just GND.
Dynahi: Sounds fancy. I'm guessing that it's obviously supposed to give a larger jump range...
Ram Tah: Yes, but to our calculations, if we install it on board the Longinus, your jump range will increase from a forty-five light year jump to...take a guess!
Dynahi: *sigh* Ninety?
Ram Tah: Oh...I'm insulted! That's cold. And when I say that I mean you're nowhere close. Try two hundred and fifty!
Dynahi: ...Wha...TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY LIGHT YEARS?!
Ram Tah: I know, right?! Buuuuut that's theoretical according to the algorithms Ten created.
Ram Tah: We were supposed to run tests, and it happened on the day we were attacked by Sirius Corp mercenaries. So, we had to cancel it along with several other projects...that will remain secret.
Dynahi: So it took you this long to rerun the tests?
Ram Tah: Sort of. Took a lot of secretive smuggling to get it out of the occupied bubble.
Dynahi: As far away from the wrong hands?
Ram Tah: Oh yes, veeeeeery far. Why, the prototype should have arrived at Jaques Station a few minutes ago if the delivery update is to be believed!
Ram Tah: Ha! I was calling you to tell you that i sent it there for you and Ten to test it out! Far out of the way from people who would profit from it, wouldn't you say?
Dynahi: You couldn't have given me a heads up beforehand?
Ram Tah: Nah, I couldn't. Even an encrypted line can be hacked. If I tried doing that, someone would've tried to intercept it and get their grubby hands on the GN Drive. They could be intercepting right now and trying to decrypt this communication.
Dynahi: We should run these tests rather quickly then.
Ram Tah: Well, normally this will require months of testing, but I agree. I think a week should be fine to gather the initial data. We're trying to construct a second working prototype and use the initial data to continue the tests in another location. So, after a week of testing, destroy that first prototype. Hell, send it flying into a star for all I care.
Dynahi: Alright, I'll have it installed and running those tests very soon. Do you have an outline for the test cases?
Ram Tah: Yes, I'm uploading them to you now.

Dynahi: Opening file. Hmmm...alright, I'll find a way to cram all of this in a week.
Ram Tah: I will be awaiting your results. Best of luck out there! And say hi to Ten for me!
Dynahi: Will do. Dynahi out.
