Inara updates, bug reports, requests
When you try to link your accounts, you may receive the http error 400 about expired tokens. It's an issue on Frontier's end that I cannot solve on Inara. Fortunately, the solution is simple - please give it a few days and it will start to work later (probably when the access token on their cAPI server expires). If the error 400 appeared later and it worked before, try to reauthenticate as said in the error message (may be just a regular reauth forced by Frontier). Alternatively, you can try to use the workaround below. If even that won't work, it's the problem described above.
Please vote for the issue on the official bug tracker: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/21258
Possible workaround: Try to connect the account while you are in the game. It may work.
Game data and imports not available for console commanders and PC players with Legacy game version
Inara supports only the Live game version (so PC Horizons 4.0 and Odyssey) since game update 14, thus all the game data on the site and the commander data imports work only for those game versions.

You can search for the stations/star systems belonging to some power in the Nearest already, if you mean that? As for the rares their price is driven by the distance from the source station, it should by easy to find a plenty of stations.
Would this filter by stations that I can sell a rare resource at?

Looks like Archer's discount on hardpoints is now 10% in his fortified and stronghold systems. Not sure if that discount is more if you're pledged to him (it was previously 20%, pledged or not). I am pledged to LYR.
This is also shown in the outfitting screen with a text hint for each item.
Edit: Mahon's systems are still showing 20% off on cargo racks and hull reinforcements.
Thanks! Both were updated.

Yes, as you should be able to sell rares at any market, no further filter is necessary (you can just check the Commodity market in the services to be sure the station has it).

As was the case with Elite Dangerous, Inara is great tool for tracking and research. I've had a few ideas I wanted to pitch
* Extend Planetary data to include O2 Percent and Surface Temperature. The wealth of data is great, and I think these would be a nice addition. I have a healthy amount of this data I would be happy to contribute if there is interest.
* Extended bestiary. It's clear the site has a decent amount of information already about Flora/Fauna. As an explorer I'd love the ability to track these discoveries similar to how the site allows tracking collectibles, magazines etc. I have a fair amount of this data I would be happy to contribute if there is interest.

AHSomething Canonn is already doing?

The request you are replying to is about Starfield, a Bethesda game which inara also offers functionality for, not Elite.

It was added a couple of months ago to show if a system belongs to your power (hence bonus perks apply). Is that gone due to PP2 rework? If so: can we please have it back? It is very useful.
Also: tested bonds for mining/trades in pp2 and they seem to work just fine (hence me asking for the symbol).

Joku24hm...what happened to the small PP symbol in the commodity search list next to the station entry?

Yes, I disabled it temporarily, waiting for the confirmation the trading bonuses still work same as before. So thanks for the confirmation and it's back there!
RawnuWould it be possible to add "engineer" as a role you can choose for your Inara profile? The next best thing is "mechanic", but some of us love to engineer ships for all seasons. So please, if possible, could "engineer" be added?
It's not, I am afraid. I do not want people to confuse it for the regular in-game engineers, thus the Mechanic is there (not exactly the same, but close enough).

I can take a look at that. I am not sure whether the temperatures/oxygen level are constant for the same temperature/atmosphere type or it's more variable, but it's certainly rather something that should be better to extract from the data and not to edit manually as there is too much planets for that.
For the fauna I am currently using some simplification, so for example there is technically only one Scarab and not all its variants, which is perfectly sufficient for the material finding but not so suitable for "collecting" all

Thanks for the quick reply! I don't see the issue of users getting confused that other users are in-game engineers, but that's ok. I won't use the label "mechanic", this is more or less a repair/maintenance profession, and not one who builds ships and, well, engineers modules. Anyway, thanks again!
