It may not be as you remember it but i assure you once you have your hands back on the controls of a Cobra Mk3 it will all come back

Let’s just ignore the giant angry murder flowers that set up camp at the edge of the Bubble. They’re definitely not trying to wreck stuff, and are absolutely not taking people to (probably) convert them into hybrid things.

I don’t want to make people feel old, so I’ll be leaving my age or what one of my first played games was…

Kids nowadays don't know how good they have it with their CPUs and their internets. We had 8 bits and 14.4k dial-up connections we paid for by the minute, and we loved it!

Lol, I know what you're talking about. But not because I'm old. My first PC, back then when I was a teen, was a heap of old rubbish. :]

Heya! I'm Heosphoros (She/Her, she/her), or CMDR madamepestilence. I'll probably give myself a profile photo in a couple of days.

I'm trying to get back into Elite: Dangerous in the era of zombie ED for consoles after the Odyssey hell and shutdown of EDDB. I'm trapped on the Playstation platform on account of my living situation and poverty, so it's a bit lonely, but hopefully that'll change with time. It's a little disappointing that I can't update my CMDR info onto INARA on account of bad Frontier decisions, but I'll get used to it.

To try to immerse myself more, I've reset my CMDR and have worked my way back up to hauling cargo in a Type 9 Heavy. It's a bit of a stretch, but I've made a PS Squadron called the Relaxed Pilots Union [RPIU] open to pretty much anyone who'd like company, with no required attachment to playing regularly.

At the moment, I'm operating out of Zlotrimi and Gatoborod, two Communist systems with good stations, trading Silver and Bertrandite as I work myself to a more decent economic spot.

Hi all. I’ve just joined, but I look forward to contributing and discussing Starfield. I’ve been playing Bethesda games since Daggerfall in 1993. I sometimes feel like the only person who thinks Fallout: New Vegas is the worst of their open world games.

I’m playing on Xbox X Series.

I’ve been purposely taking things very slow. Over the last 30 years I’ve learned that Bethesda games are much more enjoyable to me if I truly explore everything as much as possible.

I’ve already found several quest and NPC variants that I’ve seen no one talking about anywhere. No guide mentions them. There are no Reddit posts detailing them. I hope to share them with you all soon.

Hi I played Elite:Dangerous many years back but didn't get far. Have restarted afresh on my PS5.

Planning on quite a relaxed exploration, trade and passenger liner career but who knows, may all change. Look forward to seeing you all out there.

Thank you, Tried EvE for a spell but just didn't enjoy it, looking for a squadron with UK active members for the evenings when kids are asleep, happy to use discord text and discord/PS voice when kids allow it.

While I myself have a rather small Squadron of two members on PS right now dedicated to letting pilots play whenever and however they'd like, I think you'd probably best be suited for a Playstation wing of The Fatherhood - it sounds right up your alley and exactly what you're looking for

Something I'd also like to add on for you: while you're unable to link your Frontier account to your Inara account on a Legacy version of Elite (PSN, Xbox), you can manually make updates within your profile, which is how I maintain relative accuracy with mine - just open the menu for your ranks and currency, respectively, and you'll have a button in there where you can make edits. Just remember that due to the fact that Inara can't verify it, you won't be given Inara rankings.

Yes! Iam 70 yrs old in 8 weeks, when I has a kid my introduction to RPG's was Advanced D&D, all we had was a book, a tabletop and our imaginations. Long before the PC or Console was even invented. LOL

Hm, and why not? I do enjoy a good tabletop playing from time to time (I'm 34) and my companions in those games absolutely love me... Since I'm always leaving them all the interesting stuff like puzzles and investigations and whatever, and laughing like a child when I simply bash stuff to death because that's what my fun is. :p

I've always wanted to play D&D (though nowadays I'd prefer an alternative since Wizards of the Coast clearly doesn't give a shit about their customers and wants to treat them as a milkable monetization method) but I've never been able to

I never D&D'd or did any tabletop. I'm in my 30's and anything dealing with RP has been 100% digital.

Who needs a table these days?

The atmosphere. You throw a digital dice and it shows you some really sucks number and you blame the computer for being rigged. Too simple. But when you throw a physical dice with your own hand, and it shows you something none less sucks, you have nothing and nobody to hate but yourself. :p
