I've been an pilot since the beginning of the new year in 2021, and while I haven't been around here as long as some of y'all, you best bet I've put in enough man hours to make up for my late entrance.
Recently, I've found myself taking on a pilgrimage set up by those fine folk over at the Azura Initiative, set up over by the Great Annihilator, though the path I set for myself is a little.. unconventional, lets say. At the time of writing, I'm somewhere in Norma Expanse, with a little over 150,000Ly left on my journey, with my next several stops taking me to Hawking's Gap, Achilles's Altar, Lyra's Song, and Tenebrae, before shooting off straight for Temple, and ending over in Xibalba
It's pretty quiet out in the black, so any noise from y'all would be appreciated!

My name is Elia Metchnikoffa, I'm a fighter-pilot, saboteur and infantryman of the army of the space proletariat.
From a young age, I traveled the cosmos to help the oppressed working people, and also engaged in space exploration and various adventures as a wanderer. But now, my heart belongs to my second homeland, Mahimata, where I settled and try my best to help the local red faction in the fight against various forms of imperialism. Later, I met many food-minded people who fought with me for freedom from the capitalist tyranny of the people of Mahimata, and with whom I created my own squadron.
However, I also like to dream about conquering new horizons and speculate about the possible future of humanity. As the famous thinker Fischer O'Dark said: “The long dark night of the end of history must be understood as an amazing chance that even glimpses of alternative political and economic opportunities can have an unexpectedly strong impact. An insignificant event can make a hole in the gray screen of reaction that marks the horizons of the possible. In a situation where nothing can happen, suddenly anything is possible again.”
If you want adventure, help us in the fight, or just have a couple of drinks in the bar for a pleasant conversation - fly to Mahimata, we will be happy to have guests!

I am transfeminine and both me and my CMDR go by she/her. I enjoy roleplay and in an RP way, take part in all the basic activities this game has to offer.

Ashen Rose Commune is an independent cooperative faction primarily involved with roleplay and the management of our BGS faction! It's currently just me, and I've been playing for four years, so you are more than welcomed xx

New to the Galaxy, and starting to really enjoy the space experience so far.
I'm called Zakti, just starting off from a few weeks ago. Mostly doing basic missions here and there in the starting area I find myself in.
I've tried the Mentor Wing feature, nothing happened the few times, and would more than anything else, take some time to 'talk' with anyone willing to give a newbie some pointers.
I did review some of the squadrons, there's quite a healthy amount, so happy to join if one's willing to take on someone interested; but will advise-- my priorities are not space combat (at this time, few attempts I've done have failed horribly) plus human limits on manipulating controls (happy to practice though with advice), and mostly looking to just build up the creds and 'try out what the game offers for fun'.
I don't even know if you can message people in game, certainly haven't found an easy way.
If you're feeling generous with this CMDR, and willing to put up with a lot of typing (preferred method, not a huge fan of VoIP-- kind of kills immersion, in a fashion) let me know.
tl;dr-- Newbie seeking mentor, willing to answer a lot of questions and give solid pointers. Not too eager (yet) to join Squadron, but in time, may be open to such. Willing to RP as appropriate, since I am RPing a space pilot in the future already.
