I rather doubt it.

Seeing how 'politically correct' everything is, especially online games where the squeakiest wheels get the most grease, I doubt the FDevs would put anything that resembles such a gesture in the game.

You know the types... the ones who desperately need some cheese to along with their whine.

The nebula exists, but afaik no nebula has any internal objects apart from stars. That has nothing to do with "political correctness", FDev just didn't bother to implement them.

Note that they chose to publish the picture with north down instead of up. Some people might find the alternative even more disturbing.

Amata LireinSo, how am I supposed to deal with that now? I would bring up that issue on their forums, but like most forums discussing moderator actions is not allowed there, so that's out of the question. I'm not even sure if, given the chance, I should ask the question again on Thursday's stream as I cannot be sure anymore that they wouldn't ban me from their twitch channel next.


I contacted Ozric, one of the volunteer moderators on the official forums, and asked him if he might be able to clarify what was going on there.

Well, the devs took/take license with lots of things for gameplay sakes. Another example is sound in space. There is very little you can actually hear in space, but in ED it adds to the gameplay. All in all, I think they do a fairly good job.
