War Gaming, DCS and some other where a vehicle cost you 60 box, that's 2 times to 3 times more when you buy the cheap ones.

Bugs? Try Star Citizen, if you're not buying, you'll lose everything you gain in game at every update... And unless you play with a PII, this game is actually smooth as a baby's butt.

To finish, remember that the developers team have been shrank? As for the work put into the ships, I worked in the industry as a 3D CG Tech, I don't call this trash at all, because I know what it takes to put those together, from my PoV It's perhaps the best in the genre, though I don't know about the footie part of it but I didn't sign up for it so I couldn't care less.

People got what they asked for, especially because they play the game for free with free ARX on top.

Not sure what DCS is but WeeGee I know. Though you miss that the base game is FREE and they give you a lot of chances to get even those 60+ premiums especially around anniversary and Christmas. I have 350+ ships in my port and a lot of premiums without buying them with cash actually.

Scam Citizen never said they sell you finished and polished product. FDev on other hand is a different story.

And what done with T10 is NOT meme? I am just curious as I have one. And I kinda like it

Nothing. It was named "n00b trap" for a reason.

You can do mining and passenger missions with a Cobra.....

Cobra is small ship. It can do anything as Python/Krait Mk2 and the big 3. That doesn't change the fact that FDL and Mamba are one trick ponies recently joined by
Pee MK2.

You're very opinionated for someone who haven't contributed to the game development since you got your digital CD. Did you refund your free ARK too?

Point IS, you're plain WRONG. You're whining about a game that paid your investment with game currency tenfold week after week, calling it trash doesn't make you an expert in game development (you were also WRONG there about how slow it was considering the size of the team), and I doubt very much that you can put a Thea pot together in 3D or else you would be able to show some damned respect for those who came up with the last two ship.

As for WoW being free, people have to pay Doublons for the least meaningful upgrade, it's all the same shr!te with Premium ships, wanting the butter, the money for the butter and the butt of the farmer's wife isn't supporting negative arguments and complete lack of honesty. About you repay your Ark now?

Rayman. One good thing is it doesnt heat up and eats low fuel during sco in C version. its made for that which can be useful for some bgs stuff.

Can you please load internals with fuel tanks and try Hutton run? This could be Dark Horse...

Cant do that anytime soon.

I do not need to know how cheese is made to enjoy a good one and get disgusted by bad one. Elite Dangerous was a fine game, the new client is a flop and since them FDev apply MVP approach to development.

My point is that I do not pay for people to do more of what I disapprove. I perfectly u8nderstand yours as it very common among Elite's fanboys.

I think it's a fair point to say that FDev as a decently large software house have progressed the potential of their game at a much slower rate than Hello Games have done with No Man's Sky who started with a tiny team, and even now only have a team of 17 people.

Python Mk2 is a combat ship, not sure where the conflict or objection is there. I might build one to store my Pacifiers but it would be a meme build and not get used a great deal.

I think if FDev produced quality DLCs, and charged us £20 every 6 months a lot of us would lap it up. "Just take my money" is often heard in the forums. But they don't, and that grinds on folks.

Spending money on ARX transactions feels like they are saying, make us rich and we'll invest in more development. Well yeah, they might, but they also might just take the cash and spend it on developing yet another failed IP for someone else.

Aunty Sledge, I went for the pacifier build too as I used to enjoy a lot my pacifier vulture. However, I am not sure I would find a will to finish the last few modifications as I know how different vulture handles than FDL/Piss Mk 2.

Meow, flying purpose oriented ships saves time and I have clearly not having time to join your FDL cult

... I wonder how many limpets you can deploy and carry with your FDL? .. I can check, but honestly I lost motivation after EDSY struggle with Piss MK2 build.
To be fair it wasn't EDSY's fault that ship cannot equip all the stuff with armored PP even if monstered as FDL's.

I am disappointed no developer money has been spent putting cucumbers in the game. A decent cucumber sandwich would be nice when flying in the vast nothing of unexplored space. Plus, you can use the cucumbers to make pickles and have a peanut butter and pickle sandwich. Sweet or bread and butter pickles, of course. Dill pickles and peanut butter is something only heretics eat.

Ok nevermind then

Don't give them ideas. They may raise Arx prices, therefore putting cucumbers directly into players, minus the sandwich phase.

Hard pass on both cucumbers and pickles. Pickles even look (and smell) disgusting, too. How anybody can eat those, I will never understand.

Aunty SledgeI think it's a fair point to say that FDev as a decently large software house have progressed the potential of their game at a much slower rate than Hello Games have done with No Man's Sky who started with a tiny team, and even now only have a team of 17 people.

Nobody is denying that, but it's not about the mismanagement of past years, it's what they've done to address the situation.

We have two new ships, they are quality work, knowing what it takes to get them done, I'm not gonna complain harshly about their conceptual choices, instead I take note like I did about the Python MK II.

Aunty SledgePython Mk2 is a combat ship, not sure where the conflict or objection is there. I might build one to store my Pacifiers but it would be a meme build and not get used a great deal.

I tested it thoroughly and reported in this topic, then compared it to the FDL. Since I was trying to get a similar fir to the Corvette (Beam Lasers/Multi-Cannons), I figured the Power Distributor was a limiting factor, the main Beam Laser is running out of juice and in this configuration it's no better than my Krait MK II.

I have ships in my fleet that I never touch, once engineered if I'm not using them there is a reason.

The Krait Phantom is my main ship, the corvette the combat ship of choice, for bulk hauling I use my Imperial Cutter, during Fleet Carrier travel, I used the Type 7 for refueling the Carrier and honk stars around (gonna get replaced by the new Type-8), the Python is replaced by the Yellow Type 8 for Robigo runs, my courrier is an Imperial Eagle and I use my Megitsune Keelback for SpecOps, pocking targets in Resource Extraction Site [High], join a kill party and collect the pieces.

For Combat, I really prefer to have a Fighter bay, I'm very happy with my pilot (Elite, XG-9 Lance), so the Krait MK II is used more than the other unused ships (Resource Extraction Site [High]), when I want a break from the Corvette...

That's it, each has their roles and I don't really touch the FDL, Python MK II, Cobra, Viper, those are experiments to me, I like to explore ships potentials, farm materials, engineer them etc.

Aunty SledgeI think if FDev produced quality DLCs, and charged us £20 every 6 months a lot of us would lap it up. "Just take my money" is often heard in the forums. But they don't, and that grinds on folks.

If you had worked in a 3D Dpt you would see things a bit differently. First you need a job, no contract, no job, second in my time we spent 75% of the time solving technical problems, 25% being creative, is you have a conceptual design team on top, it's even more complexe, le'ts look at it this way:

We had one SRV and two new ships since I went from Frontier to Odyssey and I still can't really use VR once disembarked and enjoy the view, you had Targoids and ground stuff done as well, I couldn't comment on that since I barely scratched the surface with the Targoids and only went on foot a couple of time, mostly in my Carrier or Stations concourses...

So yes they're slow but I know that they changed direction, developed a lot of stuff and that their team size isn't what it used to be, they are re-starting.

The whole food purchases as ship's supplies...

I have worked with art departments, including MMO software houses actually. Been doing software developement for over 30 years. I see things just fine.

But I don't need to quote my CV to point out what other companies are doing with just 17 staff. Hello Games have roll out updates every 3.5 month for NMS. 8 years, 27 meaty updates. If they can do it, so can others. Clearly they have the right tools, and the right talent.

FDev proprietary engine might be holding them back, lack of leadership or investment. I wonder if we'd ever get an E:D 2.0 on a more modern platform.

If i have to guess i have to say FDev zodiac is sloth. And as a trader - entrepreneur, i must say there's hardly a thing they do right especially at the community department.

And let's just not mention my other job as security and body guard. (basically any job falls under these umbrella)
i will going to put it simple. Some peoples, for what FDev tolerates? Can get decades. And spare me from any crap. I know my shit.
