Been a while since I was flying into the cosmos, but have yet again found my commander seat and am ready to make space save again
I purchase Odyssey for good or bad and looking forward to giving it a shot..

High intensity ground CZ can pay very well with dual rocket setup, but you need the right engineering to make it rain credits. I've made over 40 million when the AI bugs and up to 25 million when it is working properly. Typical for me was 11-15 million however, with about 4 matches per hour or so.

Thanks for the info... I have gone back to Robigo mines to farm some passengers. Makes about 15-20 mil per trip (10-15 mins) not to bad

Top core credit earning methods atm afaik ranked easiest first.

Robigo passenger missions (you're doing this already)
Platinum Mining in pristine metallic ring double overlapping hotspots
Bounty Hunting Pirate Massacre Mission Stacking (visit the Elite Discord for more info)
Oddity Ground Combat (engineering required to really make this pay out which is why so 'difficult')
Thargoid Hunting in Wings

There are many more ways to make fat stacks but these are the core strategies atm.

just a question.. im trying to get a targoid probe on class 5 signal sources at pleiades sector to finish the 2nd ram tah misson.. so far no luck.. is there a special system where i can find them ?

and another one.. when im fighting a cyclops (sometimes at class 5 sources) i recognized if im carrying a tissue sample the released swarm didn´t attack me, even when the cyclops get hostile, even during fighten him.

when i didn´t let him finish the ´arrival´ scan of me (just boost away when he starts) he didn´t get hostile too, after some time of ignoring me he jumps away.. is this behavior normal or couse im carrying a tissue sample (of the same targoid class) ?

ps: im a rookie at taorgoid fighting.. but learning..

Make life easy on yourself and just use Inara Market to find a Carrier selling Probes.
I am not familiar with swarms refusing to attack when carrying tissue samples. Swarms do occasionally bug out but I've not heard having a sample causes this.
If the goid didn't finish scanning you, it doesn't know you have offending goods. The default is to not care about you unless you're doing something to piss it off so yes this is normal.

thanks for the hints.. finaly i got a targoid probe now.. at merope class 5/7 signal sources they are.
next i will test the tissue samples carrying behaivor again.. want to get my first cyclops down.. so far i get him to 30-40 % down.. than time to escape or to die

While this one doesn't require Odyssey, it's still pretty good. Basically look for Industrial systems in Expansion. Check all their orbital stations for missions requesting Bauxite, Bertrandite, Coltan, Cryolite, Gallite, Goslarite, Indite, Lepidolite, Pyrophyllite, Rutile, or Uraninite, and offering 50 million in rewards. Get yourself a big trade ship, stock up, and start hauling!

I'm 2000 ly from Sol but INARA says there isn't a station within 500000 ly. Whats up with that?

Pretty sure the maximum range of searching for a station is 300ly on Inara, that or either a bug or you might've used too many filters.

I brought this up a while ago with Artie. ;tldr if the system you're in is not in Inara's database it can't do a search relative to it. It's on his agenda afaik.

I'm new, for all I know there aren't any outside the bubble

In game you can filter by "population>1" and that might work.

There are several tools you can use:
EDDB.io
EDSM.net
Spansh <- my favourite once you figure it out. Most up-to-date and versatile search I know of (hint: "main field" shows you your options list)

Just so you know, Fleet Carriers are player owned and can move so their locations are less reliable. Also, if possible, verify that the Carrier permits you to dock there and has the services you need. Finally, be aware that because the FC are player controlled services you use (data you sell to them, etc...) don't count towards the Rank grind.

When I am out in the black, I use EDSM.

Edit: Also use the Carrier filter in the galaxy map to scan for nearby fleet carriers.
