Does this forum permit listing the names of the gankers (screen names only)?
How much fun would it be if we created a hunting list.
Let everyone know that it's okay to attack them on sight.
We could call it the Purge.
And just keep ganking then until they have to change their screen names.

Artie is very tolerant of our shenanigan's, but I think this would exceed that. Besides, 'hunting lists' never go well and are ripe for abuse. While I understand why some may hate gankers, I think of them as keeping the game's name honest. Again, I agree with Yuna in that there is a certain subset within that community that ruins it for everyone. Like, they were fun to be around sometimes but the childish or disturbing behaviour just gets to be too much sometimes and is why I'm done having anything to do with that whole scene. Even friendly dueling inevitably spirals into insanity. It's scary really.

PS: I actually friended a ganker the other day. His equipment was tight. When I met up with him later, I shot at his shields for several minutes and could not bring them down. Granted, he had like 4 shield boosters and a fully engineered ship, and my Fer De Lance is only about half engineered (ran outta mats!) but still, his builds are quite good.
But that guy AbdullaHassan1, he was clearly using a cheat code that tricked my system into thinking he had shot me a thousand times. One shot from his Sidewinder destroyed my Lance (at a range of over 4km).
Engineering I can respect, but cheat codes are for pussies and punks.

ArtieYep, please no witch-hunt lists, the stock of pitchforks and torches is limited and it's not very ecological to cut down an excessive amount of trees to resupply them.
Yep I chose the classic route for dealing with gankers.
A bully kicks sand in your face, you go get buffed, come back and kick his ass.
I learned it from an ad in a comic book.

You can upload it on the settings page. Make sure it's square, preferred resolution 300x300 pixels.

You can also block them in the game.
Main menu, click on social...and somewhere in there is a way to block them.
Dunno if they just cannot talk to you...or if they are simply not there for you...
But you can block them.
