What if there were A.I wingmates like fighters, you can command them to do stuff but you get to choose their own ships for your A.I buddies, what will those ships be? Yes you get to choose up to 4 ships (the fourth one is yours if you didn't get it).

Even simpler still, since they increased the crew size on some ships from 3 to 4, I kind of wish they would add a new SLF hangar module that has 3 hangars and that you could hire 3 AI crew to take with you at the same time and launch all 3 SLF's. As is you can hire 3 AI pilots but only use 1 at a time and since you don't lose them if your ship explodes, there's no point to hiring more than 1.
