BuuhanonHey, can someone help me with my CMDR profile? I'm trying to set up a picture so it wouldn't be stretched by Inara. What sizes have you set up so avatar would look perfect and not gaping?It has to be square-shaped, none less than 128x128, as far as I know. Personally, I use 300x300 image.

I have not seen the Expanse yet but I will agree that turreted weapons in ED are rather lack luster.

I mean, that makes sense. The turrets in Expanse are a thing because no ship has a shield. PDC is survival where missiles fly around and speed is key to survive railguns, since some ships are instantly disabled or outright killed with just one round to the right place.

Rocinante almost got destroyed at Thoth Station if that round was few meters closer to the core.
Also, the battles in Expanse are stretching dozens, hundreds if not thousands of kilometers.

No joking on any of that, and it's worse in the books. The range of battle in both show and book is just scary as hell. One of the things that has been a pain to work out for cross-over stories. -.-;

The virus just mutated from slightly worse than influenza to slightly worse than the common cold. If this doesn't end the pandemic, nothing will.
