Kinda sad that the male romance options aren't as fleshed out as Judy and Panam. Game is clearly targeting a male audience (or gay female lol).

Well... I think that's more because those two show up rather late in the game. That being said though: The romance scene with River gives you a shirt that says "'Fuck' The Police"

(And no, my
Valerie
didn't romance him)

Should I say that there's a terrfically huge gap between 'what males think about lesbians' and actual lesbians?

Uuuh... have you played Cyberpunk and the Judy-romance? It's most easily the most wholesome of the 4 romances.

Judy's character is incredibly well done. But I guess Panam has nicer curves? Though I heard lots of guys complain about the fact that Judy isn't "available".

I can only speak for myself, but IMO Panam is "girlfriend-material" while Judy is "wife-material". A relationship with Panam feels like it would "burn out" fast... or at least much faster then with Judy. The relationship between V and Judy feels a lot more like they need each other, giving it a lot more longlivity. So yeah, I can kinda understand why those playing as Vincent (male V) are disappointed that Judy's not available to them.

There was a moment in the game when you're sitting by the fire with Panam and a few other people, and if you romanced her right up until that point, she sits there and gives you eyes. I had to take a screenshot of it because I couldn't believe that they got that 'miring expression down perfect. The tilt of her head, the side eye, the smirk. All perfect.

The game that keeps on giving.

Kind of curious to see how Drew Wagar likes it. He's been steadily doing NMS and SC vids. Been also wondering if he'd novel-ize those games as well.

I can confirm this. At least I'm not attracted to them

Being a man in RL I'm also happy that Judy's not available for Vincent and CD Project Red did not give into the temptation to make all romances bisexual for convinience sake as that's unrealistic anyway.

That being said: That game could have used a lot more romance options. IMO there are three NPCs that would have been great choices to add to the list of romancable characters:

1) Goro Takemura

This guy is seriously a very interesting character and seems to be the only someone upright person inside Arasaka. You can even flirt with him a bit, no matter your V's gender (though he turns you down). He would have made a believable bisexual option.

2) Meredith Stout

I kinda like her. No-nonsense lady, and her attitude (as well as the tattoos you can see on her if you decide to pick up her offer to "celebrate") make me believe that she used to be a Street-Kid herself before joining Militech. Based on said celebration another solid bisexual option.

3) Misty Olszewski

Yes, I know... kinda cringe to hook up with your late friend's fiance. But then again: Both of you were really close to Jackie, and grieving together can make people do stupid shit in order to console each other. So it would have been interesting to make it a short-term thing with both Misty and V eventually deciding to drop it out of respect for Jackie.

I once roleplayed Logan Valburg, the male lead of my stories. I don't see a problem there.
