SakashiroPhase 4 is so short, I wonder if it's even possible to walk around a Cutter...

Considering that I needed 22 sec to walk the full length of a Python, I can safely assume that few min will be enough for the Cutter. But did frontier announced how long phase 4 will be?

Isn't it going to last until May 7th? They said 6 weeks and also that the April 30th date in one of their videos was wrong. I know the cutter is big but surely if you pack enough supplies for a week, you can make it around

Quite interesting so far.

Piers confirmed that the version we're alpha-testing was branched off from trunk quite a while ago.

Oh gosh, FDev is using trunk... No wonders why we get what we get.

Dr. Kay keeps calling Odyssey "Watson".

No word about space being too dark yet.

I have included a wikipedia entry on "trunk" for those of us who are not software engineers

In the field of software development, trunk refers to the unnamed branch (version) of a file tree under revision control. The trunk is usually meant to be the base of a project on which development progresses. If developers are working exclusively on the trunk, it always contains the latest cutting-edge version of the project, but therefore may also be the most unstable version. Another approach is to split a branch off the trunk, implement changes in that branch and merge the changes back into the trunk when the branch has proven to be stable and working.
