So Frontier charges the regular DLC price but adds $8 for shipping? Wtf?

I guess switching to Steam is not an option at this point because the base game was purchased from Frontier, right? That sucks.

Regarding the Pioneer skins, there are other good looking ones, but they require a few ARX of course.

I think you can link the base game to Steam however if you get Odyssey from Frontier store you cannot do that.

I am also in an odd position. My EDH is from Steam and EDO from frontier. It is good I have managed to get access to EDH from non-steam client.

I'm glad I chose Steam because of how fast it applies updates. Getting hotfixes through Frontier's launcher during the alpha was a pain.

Can't recommend them personally, but I know others who use them all the time, CDKeys have ED:O for £19. You get a steam key and it's all done via Steam.

ArtieYes, for players having this item it's quite a problem that an item they bought for a real money is making their gameplay difficult and I suppose it was very easy to fix (I mean, in a matter of a few minutes), so why not? Let's not be nitpicking...


agree, twas a minor annoyance, but always at the ABSOLUTE WORST times. so now the scarf doesn't appear in pilot chair. quick, easy, and not nerfing or breaking anything else (that we know of ...)

I’ve bought several downloads through Frontiers store and never had it happen before. That’s why I sent a ticket…that they still haven’t answered…

Tickets can take up to 3 days to get answered. Learned that from Odyssey Alpha not letting me access game because steam gamepad screw up.

FYI: You're won't get a Steam key if you purchase in the Frontier store, back in the day when you purchased Horizons you got a Steam key for it as well.
They are not planning on giving them, I asked.

OK, I just had to abort a restart settlement mission because at first one fire refused to go out even after the atmosphere of that building got vented and b) when I relogged to see if that would fix that bug the whole mission reset... but didn't give me the mission-issued power regulator back

This better be good. Meanwhile...
I am occupied by standard E:D Horizons activities (massacres, assassinations and fleet carrier trading, perhaps gonna start doing some passengers missions to obtain The Captain INARA badge) while devs are fixing the Odyssey. Good thing, I have defficiency of credits and engineering materials so can't complain much as there's plenty to do, however I bought Odyssey in the moment of release and it's annoying to see this graphics clusterfuck in on-foot missions. Gonna do some Xeno hunting too. Forgot to mention I do this all in Odyssey - FPS in space is very good and I like the new look of all celestial bodies and lighting effects in space combat, however there is significant framerate drop while docking in stations. Sometimes giving me trouble in the mailbox, docking unshielded Imperial Cutter...

What about the makeup colours?
You pick a swatch you like to look of, and it doesn't matter what light you get under, the colour on the face is NOT the same as the swatch.

Every blue comes out purple. It somehow even looks red under most lights.
