yeah carrier jumps are highly messed up.
And if I happen to get the whole loop with lockdown and so on, my game crashes at like 2-3 secs left to the jump while the voice is counting down


That's when they even work. I remotely set a course for Guardian Mat farming, got the green 'course successfully plotted' and went to bed. Next day: carrier still at starting system. FFS.

Yeah, I always check NPCs mission givers and if material reward is good I try to negotiate best price. This theft mission was not something I would take from a mission board and when the MI was increased from 2 to 7 after negotiation I decided to give it a try.
It was my first theft mission, I could go head on charge and massacre the settlement but I am glad I decided to try the other approach. I learned some new things and overal it was a very pleasant game play experience. The reward was just a bonus on top of that.

Can you choose the specific system body when designating carrier jump destination? Works in Horizons, in Odyssey i get it unspecified.

You can but you must have the system data. From galaxy map select the system view and then click on the body you want, then a yellow button appears in upper right corner.

Looks like you have to select the system and then click the "System Map" button from right. "[Hold] Select Body for a jump" message is quite treacherous... and I... ummm... kinda fell into this trap right now by myself.

Not all of it, imho. I quite like most of the station screens and the galaxy map isn't too bad. Outfitting is atrocious though.

Yeah, that's how I know I'm getting old too. This trend towards emoji, avatar, icon interfacing is getting annoying. F U Windows 10 start menu. F U AOL icons. F U girl texting me a blowfish eggplant emoji. No wait. brb.

Hero Ferrari seems to be broken. I am unable to unlock them, and I am about to rank up from solider to the next rank. I have run so many conflict zones, and the engineer is still locked. Does anyone know if I need to do 10 different conflict zones with 10 different factions, or is it just broken right now?

I was able to unlock domino, but no Hero unlock, and I have run way more than 10 conflict zones......

Crap.
I give up.
FPS below 40-50 make me feel dizzy and bad, loud GPU cooling system going at 100% make me annoyed and worried, need to switch visual settings down to medium irritates me.
Even the feared Bug'o'Punk '77 running well on high-to-ultra (no-RT) wasn't such a disappointment.

p.s. May be next year they'll do some optimisation, and I'll have a newer PC as well.
