Anat ShaniGuess parking the srv close by or just powering the pwr station would do the job too.

The last setup would be useful if you had to explore an underground cave / base / ruin, with no way back and it would be a one time chance for this location to be looted before it gets sealed off.

With the increased sprint duration you can finally run and you aren't stopping every 5sec, on low gravity planets you may use the improved jump assist to get away without exhausting yourself too much, or on the highest building where the AI stops searching for you.


I am in need just of rare stuff and there is no way they fill 15 slots for goods and 30 slots for assets from one settlement. Once you see how rare what you really needs is you will understand me. I was already in position where I had to sell/trade half my assets.

Episparh... noise suppression... audio masking...

How useful are those? I mean how much does it reduce the noise radius? What is the default noise radius anyway? Also, which of these are true if I fire a shot from within a pressurized building:

Audio Masking
True/False Only people within that building hear it at the normal radius.
True/False People within any pressurized environment hear it at the normal radius, same building or not.
True/False People outside hear it at the reduced radius.
True/False Everyone hears it at the normal radius because the noise was made from within a pressurized environment.

Noise Suppressor
True/False Only people within that building hear it at the reduced radius.

I'm assuming the bottom-most outcome is the case for both. Just wondering if sound travelling between different environments is modeled or if it is just assigned a value based on where it originated and nothing more. Enlighten me please. (I am a bit sleepy so if something is confusing, that may be why.)

Run time isn't consumed when you're in the air. To increase your run duration hop like Mario on fire.

Noise Suppressor is for pressurized environment including light atmosphere. It reduced the noise dramatically. I shot people in same building and they react to the noise that the victim makes not to the gun sound. In atmospheric worlds outdoor I can make a shot when target is within second circle and it looks to me that they do not hear it.

I assume audio masking do the same for non-pressurized environments but I need to unlock the engineer to try it.

Yes I try to utilize it that way, just need more stars and a fireflower

....

guess pistol noise suppressor with headshot might be useful, right now in industrial building they entered one by one, didn't really know what was going on, used a normal kinetic pistol.

I've no sniper, more than one shot of my laser rifle is needed and then they will shoot back and react to their own gunfire?

I enjoy snipping at long ranges. That is why I need night vision. Flashlight is good only for close and personal combat.

And you should really try Manticore Tormentor - crazy plasma pistol.

Hm , actually I do not think Noise suppressor works outdoor even on light atmosphere worlds. The sound the gun make is different.

Played musical modules today - Moving cargo rack modules to storage (temporary rearrangement ) on Cutter is blanking out different sized modules that were not put in storage. Resolved by logging out of Odyssey and into Horizons, all fixed in outfitting, and relogged to Odyssey.

Selenium collection - logged into Horizons and visited favourite planet for extraction, rocks collected and logged back to Odyssey

so... I had the chance to do a minor upgrade on my GPU from a 970 to a 980TI a friend didnt need anymore...
Game runs a bit better for sure but I noticed that the Engine only uses like 70-75% of the cards available resources and could easily produce like 10-15 FPS more if using all of it...
but for some reason it chooses not to x.x

The game has a setting to cap your framerate. Basically, the videocard will only work as hard as it needs to to keep up with this. Mine only uses 46% until I use VR at which point 100% fry baby fry.

Both works with the same method
Audio Mask:
1. Target at unpressured environment are unable to hear the gunfire unless the bullet drops at about 5m radius around target.
2. Target doesn't know of the direction of fire.

Noise Suppressor:
1. Pretty much the same thing, but only works under pressured environment.

Note: Even if target is taken out in one shot, they still make noises, and people around them are still able to pickup the noises the target make before they die.

Well it even has that usage on settlements where I have like 30 FPS in a combat zone and its not capped at 30 its not even capped at 60

Did somebody unlocked TERRA VELASQUEZ? I did 6 missions and it still locked even after relog.
I have to do 6 missions aka 4 cov thef and 2 cov heists or 6 of each?
