VeritechDoes the sniper rifle scope zoom in and out like many good sniper rifles in other games?

Yes, especially after applying the engineering mod.

I think he means is it adjustable.

Ah, if that is the case. I do not think so. But looking at the modified scope it have like two buttons left and right which actually might be initial design but I haven't seen any key binding to adjust optics zoom level

Synthya WylderJust go slowly at first & make sure that it's well-lubed.

Oh! This was about the sniper rifle scope?

Nevermind...

Someone needs a horny bat?

Artie, can you tell if someone here on Inara have found smear campaign plans?
Apparently, Frontier claim that they are in game and not bugged, yet no one know where to look for them.
I am not sure what type of material is that.

Nobody at the moment. If they are very rare and are in the game as Frontier claims, it will be best when they will simply tell where to find them to help players before the more general balance pass. Maybe there is a very specific combination of a settlement type and a rarely happening minor faction state required or so, thus why nobody discovered it yet.

Extra note, as I am just completing a list where to find stuff: There is entirely possible the Smear campaign plans aren't in settlements at all. It looks like such kind of "political" stuff may be found especially in crashed satellite POIs and once again, it may require some specific star system state (controlling faction in Elections or so).

Yes, satellites and nav beacon in inpact sites have data ports, so have the skimmer in one of the Irregular transmission variants. I haven't though about looking into surface POIs, maybe I will chase that trail tomorrow.

So the answer is no
Weapons for now have two modes. Hip and Zoom(which is fixed. Not adjustable, no different zoom levels)

Sigh, scavengers dropped by authority vessel - now I have to wait 2 hours for notoriety to wear down

I am extremely happy to have a large fleet so I do not need engineering anymore. It is still better to get raw materials in Horizons until it gets the benefits of The Great Flattening.

Deposits in color-coded terrain wouldn't be a bad thing. Need sulphur? Look out for pink mountains!

I always found the RNG-based distribution in Horizons slightly annoying. It was such a time sink.

Whatever they do, I just want it to be consistent and make sense. I know that's asking a lot...
