Well then, managed to get a hold of Arthur during the current stream and asked him about the restoration missions and why they are so rare right now. He confirmed that it's not working as intended right now and they are investigating.

I cannot leave landing pad. Cannot launch or disembark + can't access station interface.

Definitely a well polished DLC that can wait for console launch.

Edit: Looks normal after full system reboot.

Ship reboot or PC reboot?

Well, on Inara, the traffic is around 25% lower, but that's not unusual. It's always up around the game updates and down sooner or later after. It was just sooner than later this time, also due timing (the summer season is always "weak"). As I said before, I guess many are simply waiting for the further fixes and improvements, probably till the console version release.

PC. I do not call my ship full system.

I think this qualifies as a bug or just fed stations being fed stations, decided to use advanced docking again because it gives me time to set my destinations for trades, big mistake was thinking auto launch could get a cutter out of a station, left galaxy map to find the dumb computer ramming my cutter's nose right into the wall above the mail slot, anyone else have this issue?

SakashiroObsidian Ant says the analytics of his YT channel show a 40% to 50% drop in interest in Elite since Odyssey.

It's only natural that people, who are watching OA; share his opinions; have a similar playstyle are also feeling let down with the dlc.

Ironically, 50-60% still disagreed.

Watch his content doesn't equate to satisfaction in the state of the game. That half are so done with the game that they aren't watching the videos, that's a telling stat.

This whole line of thinking forgets that this evidence is anecdotal at best. Even OA in that post states we can't be sure why the drop off. At best we can conclude that further research is advised, and that if the decline in interest continues, regardless of the reason, OA (and likely other CCs) will stop doing ED videos and this will all become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

It is def not a good sign ofc. I hope FDev interprets it to mean their consumer base is tired of their status quo as it has been for the last 7 years, but I'm not going to bet on anything regarding this whole thing at this point. I take that back: If I was one of their shareholders I'd be selling as best I can because FDev's future, unless a miracle occurs, is not going to meet expectations as it has in the past (not financial advice).

On the contrary; by bundling the premature release out before the end of their financial year, they are projecting revenue of £90 - £95m for FY20/21, up from £76m on the previous year.

Does anyone know what happened to the helmet, shoulder pads and belt of the female version of the Artemis suit shown in the trailers? Are they part of some suit pack in the Arx store?

It's just concept art and didn't get implemented 1:1

Yeah, they also projected a successful ED:O launch....

That's the problem with gaming industry in the end: shareholders. They want money and don't really care if products shall meet the players' requirements or not. They likely don't even have idea what it is to play video games in the first place. That pretty much mirrors the heads of hospitals and schools nowadays many of whom have zero idea about - respectively - medicine or schooling. If something like that happens in two most crucial branches, then it will happen in something as gaming.

The herd will buy the games anyway. I mean, remember Blizzard and Blitzchung drama? That went silent and now literally nobody cares.
