You went from "console gaming is more expensive" and when I stated my points you abandoned the subject and now you criticize that I went affordable variant because I never had money in the first place. I was going to explain how not everything can be comfortably be done on a phone. But since that you are going to criticize everything I write, I guess I won't respond to your posts anymore from now on.

I spent $100 on a deal with used rig that is good for doing office stuff, like writing, surfing net and mailing. Over here such computers are not really rare, but by no means they are capable to run games due to older, integrated GPU variants.

Writing, surfing and mailing can be comfortable done on any modern smartphone. Even the mid range comes with blue tooth to which you can connect keyboard and mouse + hdmi connection to external display if the small screen is not comfortable for long use. The above medium smartphones have enough processing power and ram to do even light development job if you so desire.

You should understand that I am not trying to attack you based on what you earn but rather explain you why buying cheap outdated tech or tech that do one thing is poor choice. I have years old hardware which was in the high end spec when I bought it, it still works years after I donated it and is even better performing that todays low end stuff. Buying cheap usually means it is already old, it might makes sense if you going to use it now and throw it in 2-6 months but for long terms you need to look into perspective.

There are also shady options like avoiding tax, as Becca suggested or pirating stuff. And pc games' sales are far better due to market nature. Remember, we got even ED: H for free from Epic store

Anyway, I will not try to convince you more.

Just for the record: I live in the poorest country in EU

Back on the topic of consoles and Odyssey. Currently I have a very strong doubt that the PC version will be fixed by the end of the year and my opinion is that console release is impossible in the next year if ever.

I'm pretty sure it'll come to console eventually. The fallout if they didn't would be ugly.

SakashiroI don't know... Whenever I look at console games, they're more expensive than their PC counterparts. If you play a lot of games, PCs end up cheaper than consoles. Also there's a greater chance of old games running on future PCs. Some of the games on GOG are older than me!

I use a mac for all my other activities so I am restricted to a PS or Xbox (I have a PS4) as we have no support for mac .. means I miss all the PC players but I see a few PS4 players from time to time.. Cant justify more desk space for a PC just to play ED

I had finished killing all the scavs so I was still on foot, choosing a new Apex location in the map, and during that time a ship dropped off reinforcements and I could not hear anything until I was getting shot. So I closed the map but the load time back in was too long so they killed me.

Ah, using APEX is what got you killed. Next time take cover before opening galaxy/system maps.

Most of my deaths on foot are from slow loading, low frame rate, or something in the game not functioning properly (clipping, line of sight, etc.).

Noticed a few things over the last couple of days I thought were nice touches. The patrol guards scan other npc "pilots", so I guess I'm not being singled out. Also, during the beginning of a firefight, one of the guards threw a grenade at me but I backed into the airlock door so it closed, and the grenade ended up hitting another guard that had not engaged me yet. That guard then started shooting the other guards. He did scan me afterwards though, and I had a bunch of loot... so we were not friends after all.

The AI coding is simple. Authority vessels fighting each other in RES is very common sight.

I guess they don't have true faction mechanics and it's simply "enemy" or "not enemy".
