Episparh the BluntNot seeing any NPCs landing and leaving FC while on bridge while plenty of activity while in ship on landing pad.

I saw one ship docking when I entered the bridge.

Btw, you were lucky. I hear some people had to wait an hour for a jump. ONE HOUR!

Well, the most concerning issue was that my screenshot folder was deleted and I didn't had a backup.

Who ever designed sitting thought that people will just be sitting and do nothing. Even a basic function like sending a message is missing. If you sit on FC owner sit you have a small pad that shows you time and your FC name .... if you want to do any management ... you have to walk to a terminal on the wall in ready room or somewhere else.

Anyway, I am done with that patch.

I was surprised you can get up from a seat just by pressing the movement keys. I expected a pop-up dialogue with a disembark button.

It kicks you out of the sofas in your captain's quarters when you jump. Because seeing the jump from ANY ANGLE other than that one view would have required work.

Maybe it is OS/client specific. I use stand alone launcher on Windows 11.

I use Stand alone launcher on Win 10 and while my folders have not disappeared they are not being used. F10 screenshots aren't being added to the relevant pictures folder, and even Journal files aren't being created on login.

I use Steam and the Frontier launcher on Windows 10. Today's screenshots were saved normally. (I use ED's own screenshot function, not Steam's.)

Is anyone considering running a carrier with all services installed and active?

Mine have bar and Pioneer. I cannot be bothered with black market, UC, Vista genomics and that service where you can sell bonds and bounties.

p.s. uh, downloading at 85%, I guess I'll have a smoke. need to prepare myself for that first arse-planting moment.

Looking forward to Starfield now. I heard Bethesda took Fallout 4's base building and decoration feature and applied it to ships.

The sits on the bridge and ready room looks fine though.
