some times that ´trading error´ happend to me too. seems that it hangs somewhere, i think have someting to do with server traffic.
when my connections is feeling to bad i do a reconnect of my internet connection. after one of both methods all runs fine.
ps: have an eye on the trading ratio, sometimes it´s incorrect, especially trading from grad 5 to deeper grades

OK, I found something the Python is good at: reverski, and sniping with long-range rails. Need a few more materials to unlock the full 6km range.

So I'm obviously a little too late to give any practical help, but didn't there used to be a "featurebug" where you could activate a side menu (hit 4) that would bounce you out of the transaction screen? I can't recall if they ever "fixed" that.

Another trick to breaking out of a locked menu is to Right Panel > Engineers. That usually kicks you out of whatever menu you were in.

Don't supose anyone has a trick for getting our of a "soft-lock" in the On-foot menus?
