CupcoAnyone else having trouble unlocking Terra Velasquez? Do I have to do 6 each Covert Heist and Covert Theft? I've definitely completed more than 6 total.

I did 3 Covert Theft and 6 Covert Heist. She unlocked for me only after the 6th Covert Heist and then relogging from main menu. It seems only the heists count.

Cool. Thanks.

This weekend I took my Python on an exploration trip to unlock Professor Palin and Chloe Sedesi. In case you've been wondering what happens to discovery tags when a save is cleared, I went to a few places I had visited before, and here's what I found:

They remain unchanged.

To anyone who has "Improved Jump Assist" on a suit, does it give more boost capacity for the same amount of recharge from the battery or does the battery recharge amount also increase? In other words, greater performance for equal cost or greater cost? It may be negligible but I am curious.
Similarly with the "Improved Sprint Duration". More sprint for same recovery time or is the recovery time more also?

No. Battery charge and jumping assist are not related at all. You can even run out of suit power and still use your jump assist (unless they patched that out recently).

Burstar or something

Then why does my battery drain faster when the boosters are refilling?

Oh, those NPC grunts are cannon fodder. They pose no danger at all... I'm kinda disappointed in the difficulty of even the hardest of ground CZs.

yes, they are not hatd to kill.. thought fighting getting heavier when you skill increase.. another point for fdv's..

I have an empty spot (or two) on my Artemis. I don't really "need" anything on it except nightvision, but I figured I may as well fill in the gaps.
I've considered Combat Movement on my Dominator. Does it fundamentally change how you fight or just make things more convenient?
12 Apr 2022, 2:34am
both i would say, more convenient couse the movements with drawn weapon is faster like normal, like undrawn it feels for me. so it change how i fight, couse you are much more agile. combat movement and faster shield regenration are on my dominator. on my artemis suit are quiter footsteps and meele damage installed so far, quiter footsteps i like very much.. great for getting a cloned profile undetected

Need an engineering upgrade for a knife, so I can do splinter cell takedowns
12 Apr 2022, 2:54pm
A knife, that would be great.

For me personally it would be cool if the sniper rifle were a kind of rail gun. The current situation is that the rifle is much too slow and you can easily dodge the shots.

Which I would also wish for, if the NPCs would also use their jetpacks.

Yeah, the 'sniper' rifle is a rubbish. Also, there's no machineguns. Yeah, we have those rifles, but I'm speaking about a big piece of iron on a bipod with large ammo capacity and rifle-like accuracy, that could be used for suppressing fire, with some drawbacks that are common for that type of weapon, such as significant weight and reduced accuracy while standing.

And implementing jetpack usage... You're asking for too much, lol. It will require an almost total overhaul of current (pigeon-brained) AI, as they will have to take the gravity into account.

Yeah, I've said it once. A gauss cannon or machine gun that drains suit energy so if you want to set yourself up you need to stay under your ship to get a continuous power supply or otherwise only be able to get 2 shots with it before you have to recharge your suit in another way.
