Need to test this later. With a disposable Sidewinder, just in case.

Yuna SakashiroIs it possible to disembark on a carrier that doesn't have a shipyard? If so, what happens if you use the escape pod feature?

I have no shipyard installed, and yes you can disembark. Escape pods look cool although I haven’t tried them yet.

Yes, they teleport you back to your previous station as far as I know.

MeowersImagine: imprisoning people on carrier and forcing them to do mining. And blocking the escape pods with an army of alts.
Unfortunately, you cannot block players in concourse. Players pass trough each other as ghosts.
In the early days I've spawned inside someone's head on login.

And that is deeply depressing news for players like me who loved living in this universe, writing stories here in Inara and mapping out future builds on Coriolis.
I've been falling more and more into No Man's Sky as of late. As it has given me the freedom of more open gameplay (albeit more fantastical and less realistic), that eluded me either due to in-game finances or to lack of access to updates in E:D. And while it used to be that NMS was but a momentary breath of fresh air (a pallet cleanser in-between hard sci-fi intergalactic trucking and warring), it now seems that NMS will become my permanent home.
I don't want to leave the Inara family. I love it here. And I want to stick around for your stories and sharing in all of your experiences. So I'll continue to be a part of THIS community...but no longer a part of the actual GAMING community.
I hope that you CMDR's won't mind if I chime in with NMS logic every now and again.

Kirky007Anyone bored yet with the long awaited internal jump gif?
*raises hand*
And I jumped only once.
Yesterday I added the concourse bar. Today I removed it. I have some 7,000 ARX but nothing to spend it on.
Can't even be bothered to finish my builds or my story. The whole game has become stale.

Gatimũ KamauSadly, I just watched ObsidianAnt's latest video on Elite: Dangerous...and it truly saddens me that, as of now, I'll have to leave the Elite: Dangerous community. I'm strictly a console gamer. And I've supported the PS4 release of the title for the last four years to include the in-game store that I'm pumped cash into her-and-there. And it's apparently moved from speculation and become fact that 1.) consoles will NOT be getting the Odyssey DLC/Update and 2.) FD is ceasing all future support for console players.

It's okay! I really hope that in the future the developers will still solve this problem. Unfortunately, so far everything is not going in the best direction. Don't get upset!
