Hm. Just a machinegun will be enough. Like, 100-150 rds in a box, two-three those boxes maximum, slow moving but hard hitting.

So I was on a base, and I would scanner data points, and am getting a "Systems Security Protocol" thing with a 1 min timer. can someone please explain this to me.

you need thoose collected materials for weapon and suit upgrades not all but most of them.. the 1 min. timer could be the download time, dont know else why there should be a timer, not seen so far..

anyone remember the cloacking device from good old elite days, this would be a cool thing to have it still ingame.. onfoot it must be like predator style, could be interesting, a predator suit

It sounds like you are in your SRV? Maybe a data theft mission?

So, they are indeed slicing everything down now.

They mentioned devoting resources to bug fixes... is tiling not a bug? Also what bugs are they fixing? I rarely notice a difference for any patch.
I feel like either the bug fixing is done by a single person and/or their codebase in incredibly cumbersome to work with.

It's a mechanic similar to Guardian Key unlocking. The installation has like 4 terminals that if you scan them all within the time allotted you get a small Materials reward. Not worth the time imo. I did it until I figured out what was going on, repeated it once to be sure, and never again.
