EpisparhIt is normal behavior If you had bounty and ships in the vicinity scanned your shuttle.

This is the reason I prefer flying my own ship.


I wonder why it never happened to me before. I only use the shuttles so I can alt+tab more easily.

Not every settlement have ships in the vicinity.

KurakilIf the alarm had actually triggered then it would make sense, as they have shot at me while in a shuttle under such circumstances in the past. But this time the alarm was never triggered and I disabled it as well. I don't know specifically what triggered the aggression since I have done this sort of thing countless times before without issue.


I don't know about any alarms, nor about shuttles since I don't have Odyssey (I mean I know they can apparently be attacked: "If the player is wanted, NPCs who notice this will attack and destroy the player's Apex shuttle.") But I have been attacked out of the blue, sans any warning, by what I thought were supposed to be the "good guys"; it's how I learned that contrary to first appearances maybe, the hostile state does actually carry some meaning in game.

Maybe you just got (very) lucky so far?

This time the shuttle was shot down before it even landed at the settlement (at least I wasn't inside it). It appears the shuttle takes the wanted state of whoever calls it regardless of it having no passengers.

Sadly, I'm almost getting to the point where I'm done with Odyssey. As a VR-only player, I can't honestly say there's anything about it that I actually like. The visuals are just BAD. Performance is meh. I hate spacelegs, so I never use that aspect at all. Worse, it sounds like they're about to make going back to Horizons bad, too. No end of disappointed.

Talk about overly zealous, yeah. Strange. Maybe they got bugged a little twitchy, what with recent events?

Do someone know consistent way to find Weapon Test Data? I need 7 and RNG is messing with me.

I usually find missions that give them as rewards. I do that for most data, as the rng for data terminals is just too garbage for all but a few types of data.

You can buy/sell if you have a carrier and the bartender. Then it's just a matter of coordinating the trade with the other player.

I have 43 which I got from missions but recently they have disappeared.

I have seen them as mission rewards in the stations.
