However, these missions quite often do not provide a power regulator (the title will say “Find a power regulator …” if that is the case), requiring the player to have one already; and while scavengers appear to be a less frequent occurrence in AX Reactivation missions than in regular reactivation missions, they can show up, so be prepared.

Yeah, IMO, the easiest way to get power regulators is to take normal restore missions that give you a regulator, then abandon it. You keep the power regulator but get fined 100K for abandoning the mission. After getting a few regulators, take AX missions that pay you regulators for completing the mission. Do it often enough and you always have enough regulators. Hell, that is how I farmed all the regulators to upgrade all my suites to 5.

That's all very very useful info thank you so much.

So far so good with settlement raids but I can already see how much easier this is all going to be once my suits and weapons have been upgraded. I managed to find a couple of G3 suits including a Maverick with "quieter steps".

Given the fact that engineering is due to be overhauled (and possibly made into a shorter process) would it be a good idea to wait and see before I jump head-first into suit/weapons engineering? I only just got through engineering dozens of SCO drives for long-range and I'm thinking that if I got through all this only to have the requirements lessened a few weeks later that I would regret all the effort.

Thoughts?

What is this about? It just doesn't belong here. The appeal is that you can fly from Colonia to the bubble on your ship and not use a taxi service.

It is a sleeper service since flying to Colonia isn't such a big deal. I think the record is less than 2 hours.

Any advice for a returning player on faction associates' data? Need 10 for Baltanos intro.

Find odyssey settlement with multiple HAB buildings, preferably anarchy as faction associates is illegal data and will trigger alarm if not disabled. After you scan all HAB data ports go to your ship and reset the instance by going in supper cruise and jumping back (back to main menu do not refresh the settlements' loot)

Mate I'll tell you, I'm over this blimmin arc cutter. There's a few stubborn centimetres I don't get to - wish the devs would save us some time here and make it quicker.

How come the Corvette cannot be fitted with SCO FSB?

I tried every size possible but it always says incompatible slot??? Not really fair for a ship which isn't that fast already.

I had no issues putting SCO FSD's on my Corvettes. They have to be the biggest size (so size 6 for Corvettes) but as far as I know that's the only condition.

Yep, you can't downsize them. Most likely because lower grade FSDs with SCO get a bigger speed multiplier for their overcharge mode (and, maybe, use less fuel? probably ...). Which itself is only a problem if for whatever reason you downsize the FSD of all the things.
