ArtieXeknos: As I see your latest post in the bar, didn't you mixed the games? When we can expect daedric attack to the station?
Soon(tm)
There's also a bit of Mass Effect in there, what with the Khajit hiding in the walls, fixing things.

ArtieWhat I wanted to say is that it will be better to stick with Elite lore/settings to avoid inappropriate things and to not set a precedent for circus of mixed themes. Somebody may put Dr.Who fighting with the Borgs there next time. I suggest for example replacing cat-person for some type of smuggler, Khajit for his name, etc. Otherwise it looks like Han Solo visiting The Lord of the Rings.
As much as i'd like variation, i am with Artie on this one. Specially since the "Catman" just left after buying a round, and literally moments later returned (as for Coragon, who was simply sitting there and enjoying a drink, now trying to order food) little less then maybe 20-30 min passed. Have to be somewhat consistent with the timelines of Chars otherwise we really get a Borg vs. Replicants vs. Cylons. Now that'll be a mash-up i'd like to see the outcome of....

We jokingly discussed this issue on Discord but, someone needs to tell him that he must stick to Elite lore.

I completely agree.

I gotta agree. While we all like some variety, in the Elite universe we should only really be encountering other humans. It would be fine if it were generic sci-fi setting where you can be anything and call it an alien, but it doesn't fit in here. Breaks the immersion.
When I was creating Nova Cassidy, I thought that a far more interesting character to play as would be CaSIA, a character I made made a couple of years ago (Just put it as a private log for anyone interested), but since I didn't know if androids and advanced AI's fit well enough into the setting I just made a human instead. Depending on how people like her, I might include her in a story or have her involved when multi-crews are introduced.
That said, a robot fits in better than a Khajiit.

Agreed. Now, let's wait until someone comes around with a T-800 copy

That's why I'm reluctant to move on from the docks, I mean, how do you deal with a curve ball like that? So for now RT is going to stay busy in the pilots market. He's got stuff to do, and he's allergic to cats.

getting a vet to neuter the cats them would chase them away.

KurotamaHi all. Now this isn't roleplay per se, but I came across this rather eye-opening real-world piece, and I couldn't help but think of the story and setting possibilities when transplanted into Empire space.
The Independent - The Dark Side of Dubai
sounds more like federal space to me....
the empire stands to its slaves
the federal deny that the poor live like slaves and deny that there are problems like that.....
