Rayman. what exactly is there in star citizen that you can take missions and bounty hunt players that have serious crime and you have their locations. One of my friends told how the crime system works and stuff playing star citizen for some time. Imagine having a profession as The Gank Hunter and making huge money from em in elite dangerous. Pvpers would definitely be interested in this.

A player-driven bounty system would be neat. Using in-game credits, players could place bounties on other players. Then the Bounty Hunter could collect the bounty for eliminating the target. Of course, a person could avoid being attacked by playing in solo, but gankers gonna gank and have to do that in open.

Not a real rant but: why aren't exerted hearts of an interceptor not shown more clearly on your target list? I can subtarget after scanning, sure. And I see the hearts and their percentage. But an exerted heart looks the same as any other (unless the percentage is lower because somebody already had a shot at it). In order to see the exertion I need to go through the contact > target tab. Or am I missing something? Highlighting an exerted heart in a different color would be really helpful.

The best you can get is to go into the contacts, sub-targeting menu for the Interceptor and select the exerted heart from there (where its status is shown with a text box reading either ‘Nominal’ or ‘Exerted’).

Needless to say, not exactly practical in combat…

Exactly, I would rather not take my eye off the ball but here I have to go through a menu to find what I want to shoot at. Giving exerted hearts a different color would really help.

You can bind a button to cycle sub-targets. In my setup, it's a hat switch under my left thumb, super fast. Minimum distraction.

Yup, did that. Cycle from the last to the first because, you know, bounty hunting and counting down to the power plant But that still doesn't show exerted hearts as any different from non-exerted. There's room for UI improvement I'd say.

Or just adding “(Exerted)” to the description…

Sadly, I suspect this is another case of deliberate artificial difficulty on FDev’s part. (Although I’d love to be mistaken, and seeing some UI improvement there, late as it would be.)

I think it is only HYDRA does not highlight the exerted hearts the lesser interceptors do it.

Exerted hearts on every variant of Interceptors glow red. The talk is about the UI.

Gods, the Guardian grind makes your heat radiators glow hot-red! Why o why do the modified Shards and PCs need all the materials for each gun?! Why not just unlock it on the first go and be done with it? If the guardian sites would contain interesting tidbits of lore but after you first run it gets very stale and tedious.

Ships... engineering... phew-phew-phew... some days you just want a big ass gun. Gimme the Panther Clipper already with its doomsday weaponry. Or, failing that - gimme the Battleship:

"A Battleship is a type of capital ship that's the biggest, heaviest warship in a navy. It's usually only armed for combat, but can also transport troops and large fighter squadrons. It can take command of entire systems and conduct peace-keeping missions.
Battleships are larger, better armed and armoured, but slower and less agile than battlecruisers. They can do orbital strikes of targeted areas on planets. A direct hit from an orbital bombardment is very destructive. Additionally, it can provide support for planetary invasions. "

I just want something with a big bada boom.

At least those guardian places have an interesting atmosphere, especially when they are not entirely dark. Standing amidst the ruins, looking at the sky and listening to the atmospheric music is one of the better ED experiences for me.

I don't visit those sites often so it preserves their atmosphere a little more. And if you're so inclined there are Guardian lore logs available as part of a quest from Ram Tah, both for the Guardian Structure and Ancient Ruins (they are separate ones)... the one for the structures with the data orbs does require some corrosive Thargoid stuff, namely tissue samples of Cyclops, Basilisk and Medusa, plus a probe, sensor and link (the third of which can be found only at the "Unknown Structure Scan" point of interest, unless you want to buy it from somebody's carrier). Something which you want the corrosion-resistant cargo rack for. Any of the other Guardian items can be found in situ, though RNG may dictate what you find at which site.

This Canonn page basically tells you what you need and what to do (also has a handy image if you don't want to guess or trial and error the glyphs yourself), while this one gives you the locations to visit, with relevant item combinations. I did this particular one myself a few months ago and found it to be an interesting sidetrack to follow. Canonn also have the audio logs on their page, but, more entertaining to do it yourself.

Oh, there are plenty of targets on which to wage war.

Burn the heretic!
Kill the mutant!
Purge the unclean!
