Totally agree. This is the game I was sold on and it is even better than expected. Steam forums are being flooded with "I refunded because (insert stupid reason)" at the moment. I can only think they just did not look at what they were buying!

Hmm. Slow as you are sticking to the main quest or are you finding it all slow?
A lot of the fun in this game involves no dialogue. Wondering random planets, sudden fights with spacers, unexpected events...

Perhaps this is just not your game. You could present me with the best football game ever and I would not enjoy it.

I hear you. The game isn't for everyone! I'm doing things on my own pace. I'm at 14 hours in and I haven't even started the main quest yet. Just doing the side stuff now and just exploring and enjoying the vistas while shoving my rifle in the eyes of pirates.

Well, this is the game for me. I am loving Starfield! Aguilar is the one who is bored.

It's a 9+ from me. Plugs all the holes left unfilled in ED, and I don't miss anything tbh.
It's technically not even a space sim anyway, but close enough for me.

Even the SRV, which was my favorite thing in ED hooning around across planet surfaces, I don't miss really.
Once you start leveling the jetpack and get the hang of run/boosting it's fast moving with the added bonus of not having to get in and out of the SRV all the time. Those SRV loading screens can be a real pita eh! hahah!

If you haven't already, try the Groundpounder mission. Intense fun!

ArtieQuestion about the enlistment fly test for the UC Vanguard in New Atlantis - does somebody managed to complete tier 5 or even tier 6? I gave it up after tier 4, but I am quite curious about the tactics, as it's quite hard.



i cleared tier 5 but not tier 6. only gave it one try, but im curious how much of an extra bonus clearing tier 6 would've been. if its only a hundred credits then not worth it.

my advice is to repair your shield often and use the asteroids to avoid getting locked on

Aleksander MajjamDude. I am so in love with this game. So fucking in love. Just the random shit I'm encountering is making this experience amazing. For instance..

I'm in a random forest on Jemison early game just doing some exploring on an ATMOSPHERIC planet full of dangerous life, geological anomolies, etc. I hear a ship break into the atmosphere above me (you can see me look around frantically). So naïve me is like.. oh, I wonder if they're alright. Maybe just friendly explorers camping for the night.


I've seen a few ships doing that but I only just realised it's a free ship mechanic. doh!

i just lost sarah. its fine because i frankly did not like her - barret is more important to me. but im very hurt but the hunters actions. we spoke inside the viewpoint about how there are still good people in the universe. i thought he would remember and reason with us. i guess not.

Between the captains locker and cargo hold it had over 15,000 credits, so that helped offset the bounty.
