Hi there - maybe a silly question but does INARA have an option to link with my Elite account so that it can keep track of my assets, ships etc.  At the moment it looks like I have to type everything in and of course it will be out of date each time I use INARA.

While I am asking - is there a quick way to list my inventory materials?  I want to keep track of what I need and Don't need for engineers.

Sadly there's no option to enter data automatically

Shame you can't just take a file save and "insert" it. It'd be a nice thing for FD to do in support of third party apps and sites like this one.

How do you guys put character profiles on your Commander pages? All I see is the option to make logbooks, which seems different.

There's an option at the bottom of "New logbook entry" called "Category" right next to "State" and beneath "Related Flight Log".

You need to set it to "Character biograhpy"

On phone, so bear with me...

The safest way to complete skimmer missions is head to the planetary facility that the skimmer mission is for. Then hover above the base at 2km altitude. Zoom out on your minimal (page up and page down by default) to max. Your ship should be a dot by then. Fly away from the facility, and look for POIS (big blue circles), land in them and search for recks and other objects. Skimmers spawn at these, you won't have to deal with turrets, goliaths, ships, or anything else super agravating. The plus here is you won't typically get a bounty for attacking the skimmers. The game considers these skimmers as Rouge and gives you a 1k voucher for each one.

The fastest, but most dangerous, is attacking skimmers at a base head on. This will get you a bounty most of the time, and make everything hostile to you. Pre 2.1 that was no big deal, but with 2.1, good luck escaping to your ship if you choose this route.
