It's only based on tons.

OrganizedTFor trade CGs like the current one. Does the value of cargo affect you're contribution or is it only based on tons (units) you deliver. For example, are superconductor equal to tea?

Well I traded over 10k tons of tea to the canonn cg and got into 10%

Thanks, good to know. I'd much prefer to make landfall for superconductors for 850000 profit a run.

Can I ask questions here??

Yes.

There is actually a huge bug that needs to be fixed in this game and I realize that nothing will be done BUT It's regarding the python and how it's pitch rate is nurfed. This would be a pain to deal with but you also nurfed it's shields AND it's speed. You might as well call it a pure cargo ship now because it cannot be a fighter and definitely not an exploration ship. I guess we all should just call it a fancy cargo ship that "looks" threatening only to noobish players.

That's not a bug, that's called balancing.

Also maybe you should move that to the General / Game talk board.

With respect, no one here nerfed anything. Inara is not FDev.

Speaking as a Python pilot, I haven't noticed any nerfing to my pitch speed.

Properly Engineered the Python is a terrifying ship. Give it a try.

AND...the Python isn't meant to be a "fighter" either. You want a fighter, buy a Vulture, Viper, Courier, Eagle, hell even a Sidewinder would qualify. Spend some time and effort to engineer your ship and you can hang out in combat zones all day long in it - I do in mine.

That may be true...I have been PROUDLY flying a NON engineered Python since Horizons. In my experience, using it as a multirole ship with an emphasis on general bounty hunting I don't experience any issues. If I have a targeted bounty on a high level criminal/VIP I will go to my Vulture or Cobra Mk III (also an excellent smuggler). I keep wanting to see what engineers is really about but don't have much interest in the apparent grind for the goodies--the scales just have not tipped for me to see the side trips for exotic bric-a-brac as worth it. That may change in the future, but for now, my Python is all natural, no silicon, lol.

Agreed

Python = best short range Passenger hauler there is. Assuming you don't want to be stylish with the official ships for that (Dolphin, Orca, Beluga).
