I'm looking for a vid or good long tutorial about how the BGS works etc as I don't have a clue about the various states like famine, expansion, lock-down and boom etc and how I can affect them, and why I would bother.

I feel like I'm missing half the game here not knowing what any of it actually means and it's effects. What effect do the various states have on the mission types offered at stations etc?
People talk about manipulating this and that before this time because that will cause this to happen, meaning they can do this and that ---------------- *scratches head and goes to shoot something*

Blackfairythis must be possible but i would really like to see something that would make finding ship equipment easier as when i want to upgrade my vessels with out going into the outfitting area.
