AesirAnd quince will be crushed in2.4. I guess we will all have to start playing the game, 1mill at a time haha

There are still low-effort, high profit techniques out there if you look.  If you share them, people whine, they get nerfed.  Just look around and you'll find some.

EDIT: Don't just look at profit, look at time. Some great money makers pull less than 1m, but take 5 minutes each.

I still am thinking that you first need to sow what you want to reap. Meaning you go to a System, build your Reputation with the various Minor factions, and then cash in.

And the more Systems you have in a close area around yourself the quicker the money comes rolling in.

You do need reputation, no argument there. I've found some of the best missions stack because only one place provides or takes the mission contents. Only one place nearby to source? Cuts time, but you pay a bit more. One place takes the thing? Pay's lower, but fewer trips to empty a ship.

Yep, get allied with in-system factions and the Uber becomes a limo service: simple deliver politician/celeb/etc. to system within a single jump starts to reel in 1.5M+

The Orca is making more money than the T9 shuttling Imp Slaves...

All of this. Rep and passenger missions are how I elited trade. Can't see any need to travel to quince and run all those scan missions.

Passenger missions pay pretty decently. With the 2.4 mission board fixes there will be a lot more available at once.

I'm not aware of these fixes you talk of. I know that mission stacking is coming to an end but are they making it so that more compatible missions will spawn. It'll be great if they do, its annoying to receive one low paying option of almost every possible mission at once, what can you even do with that?

StalkerMac If using the DC then do not speed and the station will not fire at you, the main reason it fired on you is because you were possibly speeding at the time. Sometimes the DC will boost if you are too far away. Best to get as close as possible whilst not speeding and then engage the DC. Hope this helps

THIS.

Collisions while speeding are what does it. If you're not speeding, it's the other guys fault - so long as you're not loitering over a pad or blocking the slot. Speeding inside the no-fire zone should be punishable by a token fine just to underscore that it is a bad thing to do. It would reduce the incidence of death due to collision kills, and would add some cost to smuggling as well.

Maybe at some future time High Security systems will fine you for speeding by default. Who knows.

I think the availability adjustment is specifically regarding massacre missions. As in each faction at war will carry them. Instead of one side fighting the war and the other encouraging its adherents to run biowaste posthaste!

2.4 generates missions one by one instead of a single list like now. In the beta that meant that there were 10-20 missions per faction instead of 20-30 total. Plus it performed much faster. So there will be a much larger pool to select and stack from.

'cept stacking doesn't work the way it used to, thank the Gods. 3 x Kill 72 ships = Kill 216 ships instead of one kill counting for each mission - which is what it should have been since the beginning.

Well I like everything that got said here. Us Xbox players don't get to see these beta thingies so we can only find this stuff out from you guys. Or the patch notes but who's got time for that although I did laugh when I saw that a chair had been fixed to include the right company logo as if that is a top priority.
