Most MMO's ive player for any length of time dont have a forum attached to their guild system, and when they do they're barebones. This is where Inara comes in! A forum for your guilds/wings/squadrons. Which if anything might make Inara even more useful!
Only thing is that Wings might need a name change

Jack DekerdtSo, I am not picking on anyone in particular but as a player in open and private on occasion and solo more often than not, I grow weary of the rather constant put downs of the solo player whether on FDs forums and until recently, here on INARA.
I haven't seen any put-downs of the solo player here on Inara. Could you provide a quote, please?

I agree. Nothing to worry about.
Inara's most useful features for me anyway is the information. Markets, systems, PMFs, Engineers, and all the rest. Most of the Wings here are just the public face of a group (and even they are only as accurate as the folks that manage them make them). Most of the action moved to Discord ages ago anyway.
Long story short, ain't nothing threatening Inara's utility any time soon.

From what I remember of them, the carebears were lovable, happy little things, not sanctimonious and entitled man-children.

This. Inara has a fairly strong RP/Logbook community that will continue even after Squadrons hit.
Another side to Inara is freedom to express! I recently equipped a Type 9 and called it “Moby Dick”. It came over on my log file as m*** ***k

And yes, you should be able to in the little preview bit below the editing box, you just need to save your changes first so it displays.
