Just felt like sharing. Last night I finally had my first encounter with the Thargoids pulling me out of witch drive. It was a single ship. But to my amazement, just an hour ago, I had another encounter. This time three Tharoid ships. Nothing happened, just the scan and gone. Then on the same route back to station, not more than 20 minutes later, another encounter. This time it was two ships. I was carrying Thargoid tech. One ship scanned me, took my cargo. The other lingered for a moment, before deploying its hard points and opening fire. I escaped but just barely. not sure where my first encounter was, but my second and third encounters were Pleiades Sector IH-V C2-12 and HIP 17125. I encountered the Cyclops Variants.

Hello fellow Commanders

I have a question that I'd like some advice on. Recently I've been contemplating changing my platform of choice from Xbox One to PC. I think the experience is better on PC and I've recently gotten my gaming PC out of mothballs. So the question is this. Would it be worth starting over as a pilot (with over 2 billion in credits) or stay put (only a couple ranks away from triple elite). I've unlocked all the ships, gotten all the credits I could use and a selection of ships that I am very happy with. Put If I were just starting with an unlimited bank balance, would that be good compensation... any thoughts??

Today's Passenger mission Report............"Hi erm sorry to disturb you could you stop off and get me some beer"......No....."Oh, erm well could you stop off and get me some Consumer Technology then".......No....."Erm why not?".......Because this is a Pleasure Cruise not a shopping trip, and i'm only doing it because i need to make some quick cash because of Frontiers crappy Rebuy screen that's robbed me of all my Internals worth Millions, Please go back to your cabin and i'll tell you when we arrive......."But we want some Beer"..."Yeah and Consumer Tech".....I SAID NO...."Well if you don't get us the beer and the consumer Tech we'll we'll Eject".....I wouldn't bother i'm currently re-fueling around this G type Star........."But we want Beer"....I SAID NO....."Fine".....THUD,BEEP,Whoosh,,,,,WARNING PASSENGER EJECTED......WARNING PASSENGER EJECTED.........fine........sometime later........Thank you ladies and Gentlemen for flying SAVA01 Spaceways........."We're not getting out until you accept these NanoBreakers and Articulation Motors"......No its ok thanks i haven't got my Cargo racks fitted ,the cash will be fine....."No we're not getting out until you accept them............Sigh

The main reason I don't do passenger transport. Cargo that can talk is always the biggest pain in the ass.

The only time I listen to my Passengers is when they suddenly decide to leave at the very port I just landed at. Aside of that everything else gets ignored.

Quick and safe trips I offer and they get that. Besides, there are no panoramic windows in my Python. So its Bulk or one way VIP transports only.

Sightseeing? Not with me.

Heh, my personal favourite is "CMDR, Could you please source me '1 Ton of Clothing'? You'll be compensated."

First off, I don't think I could go through a Ton of clothing in a lifetime, so what the hell you're needing that for on a two jump, 40Ly, trip is anyones guess.

Secondly, we're literally 30 seconds from your destination. If you think for a minute I'm turning around and jumping 300Ly to find a pair of frilly knickers to fit your size 24 ass, you can eject yourself up a Thargoids Probe Launcher.

Hope yiu enjoyed your time aboard my 1st Class Liner. Please come again (with bags friggin packed this time!!)

You'd think that, but for all the asinine and badly timed requests that passengers can give you, I've never found myself admiring the view of two Neutrons orbiting a Black Hole as a result of ferrying 34Tons of Consumer Goods.

Pros and Cons, and all that jazz. =P

It depends on your preferences. On PC you will get slightly more freedom and options (HUD colors customization, another control options, VR, various 3rd party tools, etc.) and better graphics (but it depending on your PC), but basically it is still the very same game. So if it worths the rank grinding again is up to you.

lol, great comments, Happy Halloween everyone....So i got my Internals and Utilities re-fitted and Engineered, Not bad for 24 hrs later, most of that was spent Planet scanning, a good source of income for me at the mo. made the dosh and no more need for dodgy Passengers...Fly Safe Cmdrs
