In my anti-authoritarian view that much power in the hands of so few historically doesn't turn out well.  We can already see the cracks in their scheme, and it's been just over two weeks now.

1) They arranged the slaughter of the Dynasty Project participants.  We've no idea what the evacuation plan actually is.  Trillions of people in the Bubble... how the hell is this actually supposed to work?

2)  Engineer upgrades in regards to weapons have done fuck all.  While the new CGs are good, it also suggests The Club completely and utterly underestimated the Thargoids and are now in a bit of a panic.

3)  Their actions have set Maia and vicinity on fire.  Commanders and Thargoids being killed in droves in one of the biggest scrums we've seen in Elite to date.  What exactly is this going to accomplish?

4)  Who gave them the right to decide how we defend ourselves?  How we react to the Thargoids?  If the Thargoids are really the massive threat we've been guided to believe?

If they turn into the apocalyptic threat many seem to suspect, what's The Club going to do about that?  You ask me, it'll boil down to saving them and theirs.  They'll take a page from the Oresians and use the rest of humanity as a meat shield to do it.

Using humans as meatshield is a tradition amongst humanity.

Never mind one of the biggest problems The Club had were itinerant Commanders. Between the CGs, the bloodbath in Maia, and the madness in Rhea they seem to have us pretty well covered at the moment.
