Damanpush them into war in another system

The only problem with that is they are a single-system faction. Any other ideas?

In fact, given your known activities, I'm quite interested in your tactics. I've got an entrenched Anarchy to topple.

That's exactly what he did. He locked us up in wars, and then raised the influence for other MF in different systems. Quite an effective tactic.

Run missions for the opposing faction and trigger an election or civil war. Seems like a painful way to do it though. Why don't you want to kill cops to cause unrest?

Role-playing reasons. My character's not a cop-killer, despite her other faults.

Fair enough. Hopefully it's not a 1-4 billion population system or that is a TON of missions. If it's just a few million it shouldn't be too bad. That said I have never in my life tried to 1man BGS a whole system down.... so you'll have to let me know how that goes haha.

Actually now that I think of it. The boom would probably just rub its course by the time you trigger an election/civil war 1man. That's just a guess though.

Does the faction your trying to undermine have a black market in any station they control?

If so, start smuggling in illegal stuff.

I prefer. Dun nuh nuh. Performance Enhancers and drugs.

Added: and yes, the last I knew, selling illegal items in an anarchy black market decreases their influence, which doesn't make any sense. But it is true. Chock one up to Braben logic

Without breaking OPSEC, it's not a one man job, but it is in a system with a substantial population where the targeted faction is in control and in the middle of a boom. I think the boom is negating any progress I make with the competing faction overnight, since it's a high traffic system also. And for some reason the black market is unavailable. I may have to tactically retreat from this one and start smaller.

Or recruit some help. The silverbacks have enough active posters to smash that system.

Lol...we're a super-small, new wing (less than 4 weeks) with only 12 members....albeit active wing. Glad to see we make such an impression

Did you stand in line for the original Star Wars movie in 1977... before it was labelled as Episode IV? Did you order Pong from the Sears catalog for Christmas? Did you waste endless hours on your new Atari 2600 the day it was released? Did you stack quarters on Ms Pacman at the arcade to show your place in line? Did you watch the Planet of the Apes TV series when it originally aired? If so, then you're a Silverback. Welcome home.

I will NEVER know why the ASPs looks good when doing tricks.

I mean I flew FA off and she reminds me of the Melinum falcon (or whatever)

also flying FA off, and going verticle (you can go maximum speed) you can hear the hull rattle as she moves

Thats probably a good idea. Do you know why they are not expanding? What is their faction influence?

Lockdown in any situation let alone yours is difficult - unless you are willing to sit in front of them with a corvette murdering u prob wont achieve it.

Outbreaks etc wont help at all.

so if you could push them up to the poibt they expand, you could then get them embroiled elsewhere.

however its probably that the systems around them are all full so they cant expand unless space was made.

if u really needed to do this - don't focus on just pushing one faction up against them. push several other factions so that they all bleed from their influence. and then if you end up with two of your factions going to war support one side heavily as that would bleed directly from the losing factions influence to the winning faction potentially pushing them up.

make sure you are high rep with all the other factions. run the right missions and enough of them and you should be able to dent their influenxe over a few days even if they remain in boom.

Its a lot of work but shd b doable if its not a pf you are against, just needs time.

actually i thought about this when doing this very action to yiour systems - selling stiolen goods to yr black market ( the only illegal good there is toxic waste which is diff to get and hold anyway)

it could make some sense from an rp perspective - i was generally stealing from other pirate factions and selling the goods in yr black markets - to the underground rebellion against yr authority.

in fact i did it more for the rp and satisfaction of robbing one set of pirstes to undermine another, as it wasnt particularly effective.

I want to raise my Federation faction. Actually i have my home base at Sol/Daedalus , but Federation Jobs to raise faction are rare here. Does Anyone knows where i can get more federation jobs to raise my faction  ?

Do you mean Feseral navy missions to raise your Naval rank? I am not 100% what you mean. If so Chapka hands them out like candy.

This is probably asked like at least 100 times but what is the current best way to grind out Federation Navy rank ?
