DamanMainly at CGs you get gankers who do it purely for the 'lolz'.

These are the same people who grab their big ships to splat random SRVs visitong alien sites etc.

I dont condone CL but honestly can understand why someone would do it and wouldnt criticise them for it knowing full well it annoys the gankers, who tend to be dweebs looking for attention and approval of their peer group of snot nosed edgy punks. anyone who spends time on their discords etc knows full well who this group of players are and their real life attitudes which are also pretty foul.

so annoying them is something good.

CLing in any other event i would frown upon.

I have spent time in these channels and as most should know, what is said online is rarely how a person is like in real life, real life behaviours can be gleaned from conversations online but you cannot fully understand someone's motives from them. People take on persona's online, some are genuine but you cannot guarantee it.

Of course. Casual racism etc online does not mean someone is actually a racist etc. etc.

trying to separate online behaviour in general chat from irl behaviour is the justification for all the abuse you find on twitter and other platforms, and its just a bs excuse for avoiding responsibility.

Definitely there are other options.

They can logoff to main menu once interdiction starts. 15 seconds they should be long gone before being attacked. it seems to me they put this option in to allow people to escape gankers but not allow people who try to cl because they are losing a fight.

Or use the block button.

Or just learn how to high wake.

At the end of the day its just a game. If someone chooses to grief so be it. And if someone chooses to cheat so be it - it is up to fdev to decide appropriate sanctions.

Just picked up my second Elite today (trade) and I now want to get serious about working on my combat ranking. I'm currently at 66% Expert. I've been using a Vulture set up for High/Haz RES farming but due to the comparative/scoring mechanics of the game, the number of kills required to up ,my rank percentages is making this a bit of a grind.

I've just bought and kitted out a combat FDL but wanted everyone's thoughts on the best way to move my ranking on...compromised Nav - CZs - Haz RES - Anarchy systems?
