I think theres gravity generators of some sort in world, but they're limited in their uses. Outposts and small ships can use them, but its more economical on orbital stations to just spin and generate centrifugal force. Of course I also believe a lot of outposts are indeed zero G

It's probably because we are used to the orientation of "up" and "down".

There certainly isn't any artificial gravity beyond the rotational gravity of stations and capital ships.

Magnetic?

So again, can't wait to get some space legs. I'm gonna explore every type of station and buy every ship just to see what it looks like. I imagine it'll have gravity though for simplicity but would be amazing if it didn't on certain outposts. Good question though.

Nods That's pretty much what I thought. And continue to assume.

Draxxa KirethMagnetic?

I bet that's a standard option for all the flight suits. Like with the stewardess aboard the shuttle from the earth to the moon in 2001 a Space Odyssey. (And that movie STILL holds up AMAZINGLY well!)

If so, that would be consistent with some of the media we've seen from Frontier. Isn't there at least one that shows a crewman standing up inside the cockpit of a Cobra as the "camera" pans out to reveal they are in space? (Of course as mentioned above he could have his feet "Locked" via magnetic boots.)

To go back to the Babylon 5 reference - Earth tech didn't have artificial gravity, and thus used rotation for "gravity". But some of the other alien races did. So it was an interesting mish-mash of tech levels and assumptions.

Oh! Yeah magnets, that's extremely likely, haha! Honestly just forgot about them for a bit.

I love science fiction. "But how did you survive the fall"...."Magnets!!!"

Every answer should just be "Cause Science!!!"

No, she has leg springs that allow her to absorb the momentum built up from portal hopping...

I'm making a note here, huge success.

Fun fact, my RP commander, Dasha has little thrusters in her remlok for shit exactly like that.

Magnets, because other explanations such as midichlorians ought to be illegal . Crap I said the m-word.

Midichlorians are Heroin.

Proof:

Edit: Skip to 9:12 for the relevant bit since BBCode doesn't seem to like the timestamp thing... Or watch the whole thing. Do both.

I've got question for the Salvage ships/Scavengers out there, what are the best types of signal sources to look for if I want to salvage commodities to sell legally and illegally?
